A Great Intro to Pilates and Chair Exercises
I really appreciated this course! I was pretty out of shape when I started, so it was a great intro to Pilates. After the first week or two, my balance started improving, and I could feel myself sitting up straighter. My endurance for other exercises also increased. It really helped me get through the lockdown. I’m very happy with the classes, like chair Pilates, chair yoga, chair cardio, and cardio for weight loss. If you are a senior and looking to start an exercise regime at home, this is a great starting place. Using the videos and doing the exercises has helped me feel better overall. I also do chiropractic manipulation for a pinched nerve in my L-4 vertebrae, and these exercises have definitely improved my condition. I’ll continue with the program—so far, so good! "10 Days of Gentle Chair Pilates" This program is excellent for people of any age, especially those who need to get started with exercise or are older and need to be more conservative in their approach. David, the certified personal trainer, provides great guidance, making it accessible for all. "Chair Yoga Class" I loved the 10-day chair yoga class with Melanie! It was very relaxing and positive. I have osteoarthritis and psoriatic arthritis, but I’m feeling much more limber. I’ll definitely continue practicing this yoga and look forward to trying more of Melanie’s exercises. "Great Little Course" This is a great little course—exercise sessions are just long enough and gradually increase in intensity. All the sessions are perfectly explained and guided in detail, offering modifications based on what your body can do that day. It’s perfect for both the mind and body. "Simple and Encouraging" The course was simple and encouraging. I’ll repeat the course and move on to stage two of chair Pilates. The instructor was very clear about the exercises, making it easy to follow. She was also calm and pleasant to listen to. In summary, this course has been a huge help for me and many others.
