Utterly woeful service
Have had issues with BUPA customer service since using them as part of an employment benefit package 4 times no they have overlooked payment for services I am supposed to be insured for and have been agreed to be provided Each time I ring I m on hold for more than 30 minutes when I get through I m told someone will ring back they rarely do This all came to a head recently with yet more poor admin and customer service in their behalf I submitted a complaint and kept getting holding emails as apparently BUPA have 8 weeks according to regulations to investigate There was nothing to investigate you overlooked and agreed payment and I was forced to give up my time to rectify this Complaint went in to the directors office where to cut a long story short they offered 100 for my many hours of writing emails and holding on the phone I replied saying I was not satisfied with this and guess what they don t reply to that email and send me a cheque for 100 hoping I ll give up Well sorry BUPA not happening I will not be bullied into submission by a company whose incompetence rivals energy companies Sort your admin out and offer some level of decent customer experience

Directors office tried to fob you off
Once again Bupa directors office complaints proves how inept they are The ongoing issue I had with you is yet to be resolved you made the offer of 100 and posted it to me apparently the same day you made the offer without any response from me You confirmed this in an email today I get a poor apology that you didn t answer my email from a month ago I have asked for the complaint to be escalated hopefully to this weeks recipient of the company brain cell but you don t even address this request in your reply you offer me 100 to go away You have no investment or intent to improve your customer service or indeed address my complaint you think for the sake of 100 you can bury it and I ll walk away well that isn t going to happen Complaint list is increasing I expect this to be addressed in a competent manner which so far you have failed to achieve

Bupa get worse and worse
So a reply again today from the directors office stating a direct contradiction to their actions explained in yesterdays email I really don t know how much more incompetent your organisation can be You have advised it s been escalated to a manger now Well let wait to see if the manager is any better than the directors office staff Just for the sake of clarity do not make repeated errors and omissionsCall your customers when you say you willDon t make your customers wait over 30 minutes to have their calls answered Don t offer a good will gesture and then dispatch it regardless of any acceptanceDon t make a further goodwill gesture without addressing the service issues or listening to your customers When you customer has complained before about the same cock ups and been offered a solution don t offer less in terms of solution when you repeat those cock ups It s not difficult

Terrible health assessment process
The service of the health assessment clinics and rest assured service are truly terrible Due to the personal nature of some of the tests I preferred a male doctor For 5 months I have waited for the Durham clinic to obtain a male doctor and still this is not possible I emailed a complaint about this a few months ago and was just told sorry you ll have to book elsewhere So with no other choice I had to book an assessment all the way down in London Over a month ago I booked to attend this rest assured health assessment at the London Kings Cross clinic with a male doctor early Monday morning After travelling all the way down from the North East UK for the appointment I received an email late Sunday evening telling me my appointment is cancelled Every interaction trying to make this appointment has been awful I ve today emailed a further complaint to the clinic complaints team but I m expecting another equally inadequate response I will update this if I am wrong

I joined them by an advisor and what a mistake I made a wasteful organisation likes to take your money but don t like to pay back when you need If you make a claim they want past 5 years of your medical from your GP and when you try to ring them as I did twice and each time I had to wait over an hour for someone to pick up the phone and answer you call and the agent is no good to talk without any help I want people to know not to waste their money and save the money for private treatment if they wish My GP surgery is 100 times more efficient than BUPA and it takes me less than 5minutes to get to them Finally people please don t waste your money BUPA is shamble and not very professional organisation just like to take your money and hand them to their buddy s

4yrs ago great - now awful no customer service at all
We used Bupa 4yrs ago for an opth appt all went well This wk however we have tried to make an appointment they have been extremely difficult with really poor customer service Humans are rare 1 lovely lady tried but everything has to go through tech now we have been redirected to their 2 apps Bupablua Bupa Touch - both of which have constant errors we haven t been able to use We tried their tech team to be told our acct won t link that s kind of it We have emailed tried chat - waited 40minutes without help etc etc It s been a really difficult process we still haven t been able to make an appt we won t renew at end of this yr I think we ll cancel They really seem to have gone downhill there s just no-one to actually help or talk to to get things done Very disappointed

Waste of Money
Was given Bupa as part of a work package paid extra for family to be included Unfortunately wife became ill and tried to use the service Was given options of professionals to see however they kept missing online appointments then given a list of people to see only never able to get an appointment What s the point Complained to Bupa only to be told it s not there fault and it is what it is Thank good for the NHS who managed to help my wife Will never sign up to these thief s again

They are continuously sending spam emails
They are continuously me sending spam emails and asking me leave a review at Trustpilot for a service I have never received I am not even a Bupa member why are sending me these spam emails continuously I ve sent several optout and unsubscribe requests but no change so far Dear Bupa IT management here is the Trustpilot review you have been asking from a non-member I hope you enjoy it deeply

BUPA abuses customer loyalty
I have had a BUPA policy for many years initially through work and later privately Their customer care has continuously deteriorated On my latest renewal my premium was increased by more than 30 despite having BUPA having paid out less than 300 in 12 years When I consulted a broker I was offered a new BUPA policy at a much lower price than I have been paying for years BUPA abuses customers loyalty and has become an exploitative organisation I have cancelled my policy and moved to another insurer on significantly better terms I urge anyone covered by BUPA to shop around and regret having been exploited for so many years as a result of not having done so before now

Can t get any treatment approved waste of money
I have had Bupa for about six months and I believe it has been a waste of money It is practically impossible to use their services Every time I try to book an appointment they claim it s for a pre-existing condition The way they phrase their questions feels like a trap If you don t know the exact date your condition started they won t cover your treatment even if you were referred by one of their specialists As a result I have been paying for private healthcare for all the treatments I need in addition to Bupa I do not recommend their services it s better to stick with the NHS to save money
