Not what it appears

I am giving the tracker 3 stars only because i probably bear some of the blame for the fact that it is not at all what it appears to be in their advertisements I should have done more due diligence This will NOT ACTIVELY track your pet That is the ONLY reason we bought it Super disappointed

We love how easy it is to setup but it s big for a Chihuahua

We love how easy it is to setup We put it on the collar of our two Chihuahuas One is 6 pounds and the other 4 5 The tag looks gigantic on both but especially on the little one But they are super light so the dogs don t mind them at all And they have chewed all the other hanging tags they ve had As the code itself is fairly small I would think it should be able to make it smaller for cats and small breeds

A fantastic professional company that provides excellent service and technology These are the best dog tags out there in my opinion Easy to browse and shop their website products are extremely reasonably priced and customer service is top-notch They have a social media presence and even an ambassador program which is a great incentive for customers

Quick Replacement Silicone tag is sturdy

The first tag broke off was very disappointed until they offered to replace it I selected the silicone tag as it is a lot sturdier Free replacement tag free shipping happy customer

Responsible owners should use ByteTags

I am so glad I discovered this tag I am a dog trainer and advocate and this tag is a great way to keep all of your dog s essential information up to date and on them at all times If your dog goes outside or has access to the outside for any reason it is vital to have a form of identification pertinent medical info and your contact number in case they get lost My husband works night shift and I work very long hours during the day so our dog ends up spending much of the day outside yard is fenced her dog house is heated cooled She is not one to wander off but I m glad to know if she does she ll have this tag with her The tag does make a bit of clinging noise like other tags do so if you re not a fan of that then they do have a silicone option available Also I have not had an issue so I cannot speak for their direct customer service contact but I did reach out with some questions on Facebook and they responded pretty quickly

I orders one for my big dog so I could see the size of it before getting some for my smaller dog Now all 4 dogs have ByteTag s The shipping was really fast and with the sale going on and the discount code I received after the first purchase I got all 4 for 37 I love that it gives all the pets information right away Makes me feel better knowing that if the dogs were to get out they would be well taken care of till I can get them back home

Great little tag for pets

I take my dog off leash hiking often and have loved having this little tag for him He s medicated for seizures and I love that I can include that on his profile and also include multiple phone numbers where his aunts and uncles can be reached This tag is worth every penny It s super easy to use and I love the variety of styles

Appears to be legit

Haven t had this long enough to use in an emergency but it appears to be quality easy to use does indeed provide some sort of tracking which I like cuz I have a runner It looks nice too When scanned an email is sent to owner so you are aware that pet has been found - great feature that I tested it works

I m really happy with my Byte Tag purchase The website comes up right away when you scan the tag The site is beautiful easy to read and easy to upload information to There are a lot of sections where you can talk about their medical history the dog s age and personality I think it s a great inexpensive way to help me get back to my dog if the worst should happen The tag itself is also a lot more sturdy than I expected It s coated in a clear film that keeps it from getting scratched up Initially the tag was delayed and they immediately sent me a second one that came fairly quickly Great customer service
