Hi All If you consider getting your car fixed tire changed etc don t use Carpeople I had my tires changed in the workshop in Gentofte where they topped up the price from DKK 600 to DKK 1250 They use a strategy where they get you inside and when your car is in the lift with all tires off in my case they tell you what the price actually is So if you want them to do what they already offered for a certain price you have to pay the new price that they ask for Overall Don t trust these people they only want to rip you off and they don t care about costumer service I have talked to the workshop in Gentofte and they explain that they are sorry and it was a misunderstanding but nothing more no rebate no anything I also had a look at their website where you are able to buy a trie change for example The price is DKK 250 but when you make the purchase please read what is written in small letters They write that they are allowed to charge whatever they want if they like and they do One positive thing They are quick at writing you back Jarl

My experience with Carpeople Frederikshavn is terrible First I went there because of the good reviews and some colleges also recommended the workshop for me My car s generator gave up and I went to the workshop I went there and we were told that they would call me later on about the price of the generator but that call never came After a few days I called them because they hadn t reached out to me And the mechanic told me about the horrible price of the generator I had to pay 5 600 kr in total which is quite a lot for a generator change After all he said the car was in good condition and ready to drive 11 10 2023 After 20 days my v-belt broke and I went there as soon as I could They said they were going to repair it reference to the warranty Two hours later they call me to say that my car engine does not start I told them I don t know why that could be because when I used the car I had no issues with my engine 30 10 2023 The next day they called me again and still said my engine did not start and asked me how much money I would like to spend on my car Which I did not understand at first because I was thinking the warranty would cover most of the costs Later on they called again to see if they should try to repair the car because it s not starting I said Yeah sure but call me back 2 hours later I called them back 10 minutes later because I forgot to ask what the diagnosis was that he found in the car He said it s the sparking plugs that are old After that he proposed it could be fixed at around 20 000 kr I said Okay I ll pick up the car the next day and take it from the workshop 31 10 2023 The next day me and my brother went there to collect the car and speak about the issue The younger mechanic said they broke the spark plug We tried to discuss something about the problem but to no avail They said they can t repair the v-ram due to the engine not working which is interesting because I had no problems with the starting of the car and all of a sudden when I leave my car it just doesn t want to start 01 11 2023 Long story short My v-ram got broken I went there to repair it due to my warranty and I left the workshop still with a broken v-ram and also with broken spark plugs so my car is completely unusable I would never recommend this place

They sold me a car with hidden defects They avoided contact with me They didn t want to do the repairs They said the warranty didn t cover it I couldn t use the car I fixed it at my own expense Now I want a refund and silence from them

Hi My name is Gabriel and I would like to share my experience I had with the service located in Silkeborg I will do my best to relate my story the best I can remember it Also my english is average and my auto mechanic s knowledge is on a basic level I don t intend to discredit the service or the skills of the people that work there The car in problem is a Hyundai getz 1 3GL petrol with automatic gearbox from 2003 The check engine light is either always ON or blinking on red light s or upon stop s Connecting a car diagnose pop s up the following errors Missfire cylinder 2 and 4 The codes were P301 and P303 I don t remember exactly Also the car run s 200 km with a 45l tank Upon arriving at the service I explained my problem to the person in charge that day he took a look on the car and he said that by replacing the injectors on cylinder 2 and 4 would solve the problem I asked him if this is a guess or he was sure about it he replayed that he encountered this matter before and it fixed the problem But first he wanted to make a vaccum test on the engine lately he said the test came negative The following day I had the appointment but the night before the brake light came ON and the brake was soft also the car was braking very hard I had to push the brake twice to actually get it work somewhat properly The next day I left the car at the service and pointed out the problem about the brake s they said they ll also look into it During the day I recived a call from them telling me that the brake pipes are rusted and that they need to be replaced in order for them to work proprely I agreed and the following day I recived the car back The check engine was gone and the brakes worked fine also he said that they only cleaned the injectors and didn t replaced them anymore In the same day after 20 km the Check engine error poped on again From this point I think I have returned 6 more times to this service and asked them to look into this problem The next things they tried is -replaced the injectors from cylinder 2 and 4 with new ones -they used some spray twice where the air filter is to clean the pipes of residual leftovers or something like that -changed power cables from cylinder 2 and 4 although they were new with some older one s they had around During this time the brake light came ON again and the brake was soft not as soft as before but I could feel the difference in brakeing They added some brake fluid and the error was gone my brakes were back in bussines like before The following day I noticed a spot on the ground were my right rear wheel was it was leaking something oily Went back to the service and they changed something becouse it was leaking brake fluid the following day the spot was bigger and I went back there again By this point I think they got sick to see my face so I made a deal with them since it was obvious they cannot fix the problems I paid only for the components they changed and no man hours I asked around the town on 4-5 different car service s to see if they know what the problem could be and I was impresed by one guy enthusiasm to look into my problem I only explained to him the missfire problem but he also noticed the brake fluid leaking He solved the brake s problem first time by changing some cylinder explaining me that the nut was tigthened to hard on a rusted thread so the thread was cracked On the missfire problem he said that he saw spark s literally comming out of the power cables from cylinder 2 and 4 he replaced them with new one s but did not fixed the problem At this point I wanted to give up since it was too expensive but this guy wanted to also do a vaccum test same test that came negative on the last service as a last thing I was there when he did it and it came positive for cylinder 1 2 and 4 the pressure was too low In the end I spend on this service around 2500 kr and on the second service another 2600 kr all of this could be avoided if a pressure test was done
