I was fasley misled into a loan
I was fasley misled into a loan contract on 06 09 2020 by credit acceptance and car right auto dealer I was told by the car dealer as well as a representative from credit acceptance that I had a additional 60000 mile warranty after the dealer warranty expires I called today to find out that isn t true I was told today by a credit acceptance rep that the warranty expires afer 84001 miles or 24 months whichever comes first I was never told this I was told I had a additional 60000 miles by both credit acceptance and the dealer Which is why i agreed I had previously had transmission issues with my last car and this additional coverage is great to have I was given paperwork from credit acceptance stating my warranty will begin at 60001 miles I need this coverage only to find out its nothing they can do My interest rate is high at 22 99 I paid 2 times over the original price of my car I was asked if i wanted to change my pmt date I agreed and then was being charged late fees due to not paying on original loan date Even though my autopay was set up for the 28th of each month I found out this recently I paid my car note and in the same month I received a repossession letter The contract was not explained properly and tricked into this contract I feel taken advantage of Update I spoke with CAC rep who was very rude and continued to talk me in circles I m explaining my grievances and feeling pressured misled into this contract CAC rep says to me well you should have said something when you signed the contract then I thought this was so rude and condescending This company really doesn t care Then I asked about the warranty I explained to CAC rep they lied about the warranty The CAC rep says we ll it s in your contract This was her answer for all my questions I was told the call rep i talked to previously didn t know what they were talking about Which is confusing how do you work for the same company but have totally different information I was also told they have credit acceptance representatives in certain dealership to answer any questions about the contract Isn t this a conflict of interest But I was told this by the complaint Representative that call me its not Buyers beware

Terrible Company
I went to pay my car off and spoke to Credit Acceptance about paying it off in full They do not allow you to pay over 2 500 so I had to make two separate payments to get this paid in full I called several times to make sure that I would not be charged extra for the two payments and that I wanted to pay it off in full I was assured that it would be paid in full after the second payment I went into my account to confirm this and they charged an additional 2 79 that was still owing on my balance I called and asked why and they said the quote was only good for one day How could that be after confirming several times I m not upset about pay 2 79 more it was the fact that this company does not work with their customers I asked if they could please remove that fee due to no fault of mine I understood the amount I was to pay and did it but apparently customer service did not explain to me that because I had to make two payments it would put a new charge on my account To pay the 2 79 off I got charged 3 89 for service fee to pay this amount more then what I supposedly still owed DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE AWFUL

DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THIS COMPANY
This place is the most unorganized company I have ever done business with So I set up auto pay and worked fine for a few months then I see they didn t take any payment out for a month and a week I call to see what is wrong and they say my card has expired So I told the guy they are on drugs because every other bill I have is on auto pay and they all have been fine for many years So now I pay late fees on this and a hit on my credit The customer support sucks and is rude By the way the card that was said to be expired being used for the auto pay is what I used to pay the behind payment This happened twice by the way Note I travel around the world and many months I have no access to computers or anything else to babysit this company I am reporting to the BBB and going through my bank instead of this pathetic company Get your stuff straight Credit Acceptance

I opened an account with this company
I opened an account with this company in July 2021 The first thing is they couldn t change my due date so I always pay 2 weeks late and assessed a late fee They have no way to view your payment history I ve been sick with COVID over a month and thought that I made my last payment I woke up Sunday morning to an email alert that my credit score dropped 79 points due to a late payment I immediately called the company and was informed that my payment was 45 days late I asked why no one wrote called or emailed me that I was behind I was informed that they don t email or mail correspondences as a payment reminder courtesy and that I didn t authorize consent for them to contact me by phone I made the payment that date and requested for the credit bureau record to be updated I was informed that I d have to dispute it with the credit reporting agencies This is the most unprofessional tacky and ghetto comp any that I ve ever done business with Keep in mind that the utility companies send out payment reminders Now I must dispute this with the credit reporting agencies I have very good credit and have never been 30 days late paying now I have a 76 decrease in my credit score because I ve been sick and delirious for weeks and the company is so unprofessional that they don t send a courtesy reminder

STAY AWAY FROM CREDIT ACCEPTANCE
Credit acceptance is the worse thing you want in your life Stay away from these people They lie about pretty much everything Their interest are ridiculously high They are so selfish and willing harass you over and over with no understanding at all I missed 2 payment due to an Automated payment failure which resulted from their system keep failing They gave me a call after 2 months and told me I was a little behind in which I agreed to bring everything current by splitting the payment in two But I curiously checked my credit and caught 4 late payment Strikes And this was during the peak of COVID when most of us had no jobs I tried to explain that I was not aware that the automated payment was not going through and I was busy trying to keep my family safe from the COVID impact But they never wanted to hear anything about my family or my situation that is causing my to split the payment They told me they will just keep reporting and ruining my family future They have a lot of fishy stuff that they do So do yourself a favor STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY They are selfish scammers wearing sheep skin

They are the worst
They are the worst I ve been paying my monthly payments on time I had 50 in late fees These pieces of dog trash reported 50 in late fees as a 30 day late payment on my credit report I called them and they explain that late fees are considered payments and that s why they reported it 30 days late All of my contractual payments have been made on time They are trying to destroy my credit because of 50 in late fees During hard times my priority is to make the monthly payment Late fees can be taken care of when I have extra cash They don t give a damn But guess what I m a warrior And when I fight I win They will not destroy my credit rating with a 30 day late payment I will report them to the consumer financial protection bureau the attorney general the Better Business Bureau and I will file a lawsuit they will not win I have saved every piece of conversation every piece of correspondence and I have documentation to prove that my payments were made on time Do not do business with these people They are crooks They run their business like a third grade dropout They have zero intellect and zero intelligence

Harassing me for one missed payment Missed the payment in June of last year They harassed me until I blocked them Then when I reported that they falsely ran my credit in September one agent told me they had not Another agent calls me to tell me they did because I applied for a car loan with them lol Um I already have a car loan with u That s a lie Unethical and predatory

Credit Acceptance is the worst company
Credit Acceptance is the worst company DO NOT let them get their talons into you It does not matter if you pay the car loan off or not they will not acknowledge it if you do My car was paid off by another insurance company because I was rear ended A year later I see that Credit Acceptance is garnishing my wages for the same car loan They knew where the payment went enough to send the title to the insurance company Yet they did not know to document on my account that the car has been paid off So they are about to take 25 of my earnings for a car that is paid off Then they deny ever being paid for my car by the insurance company but the title to the car has been sent to me by this insurance company at this point They are crooked will take your money however they can I hope they go under have to file all kinds of bankruptcy They deserve that for the way they have fried to swindle me out of my money everyone else s too I will never have any use for this company If you are smart you will NEVER use this company unless u like being screwed out of your hard earned money

BEWARE
Had i known I would have to go through hoops just to make a car payment I would have chose a more suitable dealership other than Cars Plus to purchase my rachet 2011 Equinox I have had issues with this car and company since i drove it home In order to make a payment you must go through red tape My first payment I mailed the check 5 days in advance upon receiving notices 7 days prior to payment Well there were ice storms and mail was delayed not my fault payment sent Second payment I tried to pay over the phone for 9 additional Three times i entered my card number and three times the wrong numbers were repeated So i gave up and mailed another check Now I m late thus the incessant calls I will be paying this car off ASAP and will never deal with this company ever again
