Terrible company and platform -- They

Terrible company and platform -- They have increased their transaction fees by 300 in last 1 year 2022-2023 The pace with which they moved from 50 cents to 2 euros they will soon be charging more than many stocks price I think There is also no legal control for these activities which is very bad Even if I include 10 inflation and increase in operating cost it will never justify 300 increase in transaction cost

Do not use if you are not a tax resident in one of the service countries where degiro is located

I started to use my DeGiro account one year ago being located in Colombia Latin America but being a Dutch national and clearly stating on my account that I had a tax residency in Colombia One year after having moved a big part of my investments into DeGiro I was forced to sell and move all my stocks because my tax residency was not in a region where they provided their services Fairly disappointed in this strict and unwelcome approach Suggest any potential person looking into using DeGiro to consider using CharlesSchwab instead

Terrible

Just got access to my account again after a terrible 12-hour long outage with no kind of messages from their support team or anything that would acknowledge the failure and let customers know about the status of the issue For 12 hours I didn t know if all my investments were just gone or what was going on I expected MUCH more from a company like the Degiro to be honest I m going to migrate my investments out because I just cannot stand another event like this one

Really negative experience

Really negative experience Trying to convert for my diseased father and they are not able to help in any way for the last few months Hide under rules that do not apply while other brokers do not have any issues with my requests They did however made a great effort to create additional problems that I never asked for

Horrible company

Horrible company told me that they will close my account and either I sell my stocks at a loss or they sell Then I asked for a reason they are closing my account the answer was internal undisclosed reason

below average experiece very limited

Can definitely not recommend I can t find options trading Only like 20 companies No fractional shares and no possibility to set a take profit Limited amount of assets and very high fees Almost 5 euros for one trade in Europe I switched to Interactive Brokers Way cheaper an insane amount of assets fractional shares way more advanced 10K bonds options trading cryptocurrencies

Broken 0 stars terrible investor broker

Buggy app it made sell order at worst rates without me knowing it it can buy and sell anything without me knowing it that s terrible Stay far away from it

Very bad processes and service

I have been trying to change my bank account for months and still without success No reply to my emails and no results by phone either This makes me feel very insecure Zero stars not recommended I wonder how you can afford such a miserable service these days without being wiped out of the market

Customer service can t be this bad for a broker

I had a permanent standing order for some shares when they reach a certain price Yesterday I decided to remove the standing order to sell the shares right away but the platform throws a generic error when I try to delete the outstanding order I have reached out multiple tomes to customer service without receiving an answer I have tried to do the order through email as indicated in their help desk but again without getting any answer or feedback It s baffling that a broker that handles our money has such a terrible service As a matter of fact I m losing money not being able to sell stocks when the price goes up Shameful I m changing broker ASAP

Massive unexplained withdrawal delays and poor customer service

Despite the website claiming that withdrawals take 2-4 business days I have now been waiting nearly 2 weeks for my withdrawal As a result I missed the UK 23 24 tax year deadline which will result in over 1k of extra tax being paid this year due to the inability to transfer my holdings into any ISA as a result of these withdrawal delays Customer service have provided no explanation said they cannot expedite the withdrawal and not got back to me since Clearly outclassed by new mobile competitors such as Robinhood or Freetrade Stay away and go somewhere with better customer service and reliable withdrawals
