After registration and email activation

After registration and email activation they start to ask know your customer information I find this rather annoying that you ask this AFTER activation without mentioning it Especially that it s forced and that I can t continue to the site to check it out first before sending high private government issued documents So I logged out and look for another service

Unable to withdraw funds No reach out CS

Have been trying to withdraw funds for 10 days Customer service was supposed to call me back on 5 separate occasions and keep me updated on the status of my withdrawal Failed each time to do so Extremely negligent

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible I am trying to delete my account for 3 months already and still no luck or any reply Only automatic replies from the bot I will have to make a formal complain to EU national data protection authorities and the European Data Protection Supervisor EDPS for violating the European GDPR Right to Erasure

Mising basics for passive trader

For active traders DeGiro might be useful but for a passive investor I m missing very basic functionalities For example it is not possible to see returns per year only per today or over all-time Other brokers do show returns per date range or at least per each individual year It s a shame they seem to focus only on active traders with loads of info I don t need but the most basic stuff is not there

Mobile app not so good

Information on my portfolio on the mobile app is not visible for months now Every time I give feedback to de Giro on this I never get a reply

Order execution not very good Orders placed after-hours cannot be cancelled edited until market open In lower liquidity stocks limit orders placed in the platform did not appear as a bid price even though the price was better than the highest bid as seen in the interactive brokers platform and the de giro platform

How long it takes to update a portfolio

Schroder UK Public Private Trust plc changed its name to SCHRODERS CAPITAL GLOBAL INNOVATION TRUST PLC more than two months ago Degiro has not updated my portfolio When I emailed them Degiro thanked me for contacting them and asked me to be patient

Low cost low quality

This broker is cheap but the quality is low as well It poses to have no service costs but instead charges connection fee s Regularly orders are not filled due to technical problems Yesterday I received a letter that I had to sell some of my holding within ten days because DeGiro would no longer support these holdings Of course the company was not available for information

Very basic

The only good thing about DeGiro is the low fees The app always have issues you cannot zoom in out on charts properly top winners losers always not visible on some sections you have to click exactly on a specific spot to access the stock you are checking It lacks a lot and DeGiro not interested to improve despite the feedback

Customer service non existent

The App works well and fees particularly for USD transactions are ok That s all the positive news I can confirm other reviews on the fact that DeGiro unlawfully holds customer funds In my case I made a significant EUR deposit to my EUR trading account but DeGiro did not credit stating the main account is in CHF and therefore they cannot credit After 1 months of back and forth I was told I we have found the money and you will receive a refund within 6 business days no refund nor reply to emails since Phone is not being answered Also promised credits for bringing on new customers are not being issued It is unbelievable that this type of corporate behavior still exists in these days One has to assume this is a directive of the new German ownership I have passed the matter in to a legal council Shame on you DeGiro
