DEGIRO is an investment platform that offers a mobile app iPad app and web interface which I found to have essentially positive aspects with some place for improvement Pros - Mobile Apps provides convenient and rather complete access to investment portfolios on the go Some knowledge tests are required before you access complex products - Access to a wide range of markets enabling to diversify your portfolios with assets from different regions including stocks bonds ETFs and options - The fees are reasonable somehow lower than more conventional banks Cons - So far I didn t have to ask for Customer Support but friends reported as Degiro being less responsive at times I hope it will never be the case in the eventually of an urgent situation - Limited tools The platform s research and analytical tools are relatively basic on the apps compared to some other investment platforms However they might be enough for basic usage Note that the web interface has more capabilities Overall my experience with Degiro is thus globally positive but there are areas that could be improved

Website works fast and easy They are cheaper than competitors although they keep raising prices a little unfortunately They also do not offer as much turbo s as they were used to What they have works great and clientservice always helps quick and friendly with questions

The app is straight forward clear and easy to use Buy and Sell orders can be placed quickly Buying local shares is done for a competitive fee however buying US shares seems too expensive I would like to see additional order types such as trailing stop loss

I like the simplicity quick response customer representative and a little bit on improvement when it comes to communicating why certain stocks are not available to be purchased or why certain stocks just never show up to be bought Other than that I have no problems with DeGiro

Good prices and professional to the point helpdesk Recommended The web app is somewhat dated and confusing with lots of info but not the basics at hands Etoro does this better Also lots of missing info on bonds en stocks But that s kinda the experience with lots of brokers So far recommended for somewhat experienced Dutch users
