Stay away from this Doctor
I ve had a bad experience with Dr Marlowe After finding her website on Google where she advertises treating difficult to diagnose conditions I decided to book a consultation I needed a referral letter from my GP which only provided limited information They didn t ask for further details about my condition just the GP letter and payment At the 1-hour consultation I described my symptoms and explained I could hardly eat without worsening my condition She suggested tests including TB quantiferon Gold rheumatology profile mineral screen and active B12 Despite having had these tests previously she insisted as I didn t have the results on hand Reluctantly I agreed having already spent 500 on the consultation She mentioned trying antifungal medication for two weeks I had previously taken it for three days but she emphasized a longer duration After a month I had a follow-up consultation where she confirmed the tests showed nothing new as expected She requested historic blood results and insisted on a SIBO test despite my previous negative results This additional test cost 165 Gathering historic results was time-consuming but I managed to send them along with the new SIBO test results negative again After two months and multiple follow-ups I received a letter dismissing any infection and ignoring my historic blood results She also falsely claimed I hadn t done the SIBO test Frustrated and 1 699 poorer I decided months later to try the antifungal course she mentioned My GP refused to prescribe it so I reluctantly booked another consultation with her for 300 She prescribed a two-week fluconazole course despite her earlier dismissal of an infection She instructed me to email her ten days after finishing for a second course However after repeated follow-ups I received no response and learned she was on leave until April 2024 This delay and lack of support have left me struggling to obtain another antifungal course I m deeply concerned about the impact of this delay on my condition I do not recommend Dr Marlowe Her website boasts a 4 98 out of 5 rating via Doctify but I was never offered to leave a review Overall this was a very expensive and disappointing experience

Bad Experience
Like another reviewer I had a very bad experience with Sharon Marlowe and would not recommend her She charged huge fees and I have nothing to show for it She does a quick online company search is enough to show that Despite assurances from the secretary none of the requested paperwork I had diligently collated and sent before the appointment had been read so she knew nothing about my case she missed glaring results focussed on others that I have since been told are not indicative of an issue and then criticised other doctors for their treatments despite having given only vague guidance using non-committal wording Works part-time and takes extended holidays so is rarely available emails I sent requesting assistance as my condition worsened were unanswered in the end I gave up I was even told to arrange my own lumbar puncture Any other consultant I have described this experience to has raised their eyebrows Another expressed an opinion I will not repeat here Her website claiming to be an expert in unusual infections and all the testimonials gave me such hope but it would be wise to remember who decides what reviews get featured on there
