It was a great experience with English center My teacher made a course to suit my needs and my concerns by focusing on my most frequent weaknesses and shortcomings I feel more confidence with my english skills since I made the course It s totally recomendable

Great concept of using my own emails as source material

They wanted to start with an assessment to see my current level I already knew mine so we we re able to skip that I originally chose them to give me this training because they don t just give you homework from some work sheet but use my own personally written emails as the source material for each lesson Using my own emails turned out to be really helpful in understanding where my skills are lacking and to steer the training to those parts I am very content with the training I received and I genuinely think it contributed a lot to my professional emails

At the English center I met an excellent English teacher She managed to organize the grammar in my head fill in the gaps in my vocabulary and improve my pronunciation All this in a great atmosphere with a sense of humor and the pleasure of teaching Moreover lessons take place in the very center of Amsterdam a five-minute walk from the central station

Great experience

I would say that my experience with The English Center was quite good I had personal classes online it was flexible based on my convenience Teacher made tailor made course for me on the area where I wanted to improve He updated the content based on our previous classes I was impressed and I would also do follow up courses later this year

Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to improve english speaking

I took an intensive 5 morning English speaking course and it brought me a lot By practicing presentations pitches and conversations about my work I learned many new words but gained a lot of confidence I can recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their English

Great Exprerience Useful Course

I had a really good experience with the English Center Their courses are tailored to your needs flexible in time but with the right amount of push in the back to get things done in an efficient amount of time My English teacher was friendly motivating and helped me developing a better writing for things such as job applications CVs and formal communication in general It helped me move forward in my career and made me regain confidence Thank you so much

Great experience much recommended

I took private lessons at the English Center in order to reduce my Dutch accent and speak with a more consistently North American accent I had a great time working with Marike who is a knowledgeable teacher with a great sense of humor and patience when it comes to the schwa sounds I look forward to working with her again in the near future
