It is the worst airport I have ever

It is the worst airport I have ever used 3 hours to check in and go through security Massive queues One person checking boarding passes and just 2 security channels Thought we had missed our departure Will never use it again Rude and dismissive staff

Massive que at passport control Massive que at security The chance of missing your flight is very high We almost missed the conecting flight Only because the people in the que let us go ahead thanks to them we made it on the plane We had to pay 45 to check in Very bad atmosphere in the airport Unfriendly staff and confusing signs

Can you give less than 1 star

If I could give it less than 1 star I would Landed to a 45 minute queue for passport control with no real area to queue we were up and around stairs That was our first impression the airport was too cramped On our departure we arrived to see all three departure gates A B C were being fed through 3 boarding pass control gates There was a queue as far as the eye could see past all the check in desks Where two large queues met there was a huge gathering of people which meant queuing was pointless Once we were through the boarding pass gates we queued for another 45 minutes for security Awful organisation no guidance no communication Did well to make our flight Worst airport I ve ever been to

For years I am traveling to and from

For years I am traveling to and from Dus Airport After Covid this Beautiful Airport is runned down completely Dirty filthy For traveling be advised to arrive a day before your flight in order not to miss it One open security check for thousands of traveling passengers The most unfriendly and rude staff Our on time flight was delayed because the Airport does not have sufficient staff to get the luggage on time out of the arriving flights A total disaster An Airport in one of the richest countries in the workd What a disgrace Hopefully they will change the management and return to the good service this Airport offered before

Worst airport ever

I fly an average of 12 times a year and Dusseldorf airport is the worst airport I have ever been to They stole half of my 100ml liquides because the plastics bags were to big I always use the same plastic bags for my liquides all over the world and this was never a problem anywhere They treated us like criminals and were very arrogant They abused their power on us and we almost missed our flight I will never fly from this airport again and advise anyone not to go here Go to Keulen airport much better

Unfriendly staff

Flown with Eurowings great company nothing wrong with that but D sseldorf AirPort is not recommended by me Especially because of the very unfriendly staff and sometimes on the rude side especially at the security check If you don t fly too often it s not a nice start to your holiday

Don t touch SIXT

Don t touch SIXT Despite charging the full car rental cost beforehand if you arrive late they give your car away - they then charge more to help you I was honoured to pay more to get a car when we arrived late told to wait 2 hrs if I wanted my original choice I am sure they saw the 2 young kids with me Well done SIXT everyone I spoke to in Germany was surprised thought you were better Lots of other and more honest car rental companies

Absolute shocker of an airport

Absolute shocker of an airport Had to wait 25 mins for steps when we landed Hour long queue at immigration Departure was much worse 90 mins to get thru security Luckily we arrived 3 hours before Lots of people missed the flight Avoid this airport
