Not great customer service
Not great - tried to book service call for drive golf buggy was told could be 2 days later I thought great waited in all day no call rang office told he couldn t get through turns out number written down wrong then told I d be rung the following week Didn t get a call so rang again then told the 1 engineer they have was busy with courses and holiday leave now so approx 6 weeks wait Couldn t even manage an apology without asking Seem to think that because there are limited companies out there who deal with this they can treat your poorly I m afraid no company is indispensable so last time I use them I m afraid

Avoid Ordered a pair of Hunter boots After a few months the boots split Ernest Doe said send back for a replacement All seemed fine at this stage Month after month went by they would not replace until they had heard from Hunter even though it was confirmed by Hunter the boots were faulty Ernest Doe not willing to help After around 6 months replacement arrived but wrong type Ahh So agreed a refund many weeks later a refund was finally made but to the wrong paypal account I can t get my money and the company says it s a system thing and refuse to help They said they don t want to be out of pocket - but are happy for a customer to be Now battling to get my money back My observation is if you are buying anything expensive need any customer service or help avoid The staff are nice enough but constantly say we can t do because I have since ordered boots from another supplier but am still out of pocket

Ernest doe rip off
I recently sent my cylinder lawn mower to the Rochford branch for a service they took a month to get it done then charged me 450 for the privilege how does it take 7 hours to service a lawn mower Never again will i be using ernest doe absolute rip off merchants

Won t use them again
Won t use them again Ordered a chainsaw online at which point there were two in stock Order was acknowledged but after two days no update on shipping so email sent requesting order status Saturday no answer by pm Monday so had to phone lady told me that one had sold online the same time as mine but the remaining one was found to not pass inspection I told her I didn t believe her well the Company Stihl apparently do this check prior to despatch from factory Seems my review is similar to others on here Received an email the same time I called showing refund no explanation NOTHING Poor service all round Wasted 4 days when one could have been bought and received long before Ernest Doe have the time to advise my order was cancelled

Don t use their online ordering
Placed online order after checking stock email arrives 2-3 days for processing Duly wait 3 days and nothing call to be told by the time head office processed the order they no longer had stock Only used click and collect as I thought it would be quicker Won t ever be ordering online from ED again

Sad really sad
I m writing you to inform about my experience with a Husqvarna leaf blower and after sales customer service First fault with a leaf blower happened in the end of August beginning of September 2023 and I took it for repairs at Ernest Doe Power in Esher Surrey After a month or even a bit longer I received machine back from them In the end of November I experienced faults again and took my leaf blower back for repairs at Ernest Doe Power in Esher Surrey They sent machine to another branch somewhere in Sussex December January February March- these are four months while I have been ignored phone calls are dismissed messages are ignored and I can t use my garden machinery There are literally no adequate updates except those times when they reply they always are still waiting for parts It absolutely ridiculous It s so sad that I didn t read reviews earlier

Ernest Doe Wymondham should be avoided at all costs We took our Strimmer in to be fixed it took 1 1 2 weeks for a call to say that they could fix it which was great 3 weeks later 5 failed phone calls we got through to be told the fix was with someone who had gone back to college hence the delay We then had a call to say actually they couldn t fix it We then got charged for the inspection despite wasting 3 weeks of our time This is on top of the fact they fixed our John Deere which actually wasn t and we had to get someone else out to sort The service now is a joke The reply below from Ernest Doe is untrue we didn t get contacted after the inspection

Ernset Doe Wymondham branch So pleased now to have my own Stihl chain sharpening set after bad service from this branch Wife went to collect chainsaw after supposed sharpening and charged her double what I was quoted Hardly sharpened at all Feel fleeced especially as I had purchased saw and accessories from them at an earlier date No more custom from us

I would give them 6 stars if I could
So I had the pleasure of dealing with Serena who works at the company and she was absolutely first class in the way she dealt with my eventual order - replied back to my emails and helped me narrow my search down - the item arrived a day later - fantastic customer service and I would also say the company are very competitive in their prices too I will defiantly shop here again - I would give them 6 stars if I could
