Expectations Exceeded

The cooking holiday in Trentino Italy at Castel Campo in September 2024 exceeded all my expectations The 1 000 year old setting enhanced our stay and created a magical experience Laura and Henry crafted a memorable holiday bringing together ten strangers from the US England and Austria creating a bond and friendships with each other by blending local ingredients and cultural dishes to enjoy scrumptious meals every day of our stay Together with excursions to fully experience the breathtaking Dolomites and the Trentino Region I feel like the holiday was a cultural immersive experience I have participated in cooking classes in the US France Italy and Germany and this week topped them all We were guided by Henry s experienced tutelage and calm demeanor and every participant was able to take part in creating every dish Despite the truly hands on cooking it was not intimidating and laughter and quiet conversation flowed through the house every morning as we worked together to develop each recipe I have been successful in replicating several recipes upon my return home and look forward to implementing the skills and tips that Henry imparted on us Laura was the consummate cohost and sous chef attending to every detail and anticipated every need I can t wait to return for more experiences with Henry and Laura in other unique settings such as this one
