RUN from this company

I unfortunately had this company do repair work after an accident The repair required an alignment They supposedly did so At least they charged for it However it was poorly done The car pulls hard to the right I think they eyeballed it and just charged as if they did Talked to a person that claims to be the manager He said that he would have it done again but I would have to turn my car over to them and risk having my car stolen or vandalized The place he claims to have had the alignment done at is next door I suggested meeting him there to have it done But he said that if it was done that way I would have to pay for it Why I have to turn car over to his staff and leave it Why Unless plans to claim to have alignment done but not Plus probably hope that I would leave something s valuable in car These clowns will NEVER have access to my car again If I have to pay to have it done then will take it some place that can be trusted This company requires a waiver of responsibility This should have been a RED Flag This waiver says Gerber isn t responsible for ANYTHING that happens to the car regardless of what or by whom When I picked up my car all the doors were unlocked and the passenger window was fully down They aren t even capable of basic security Wholly negligent They had my car for almost a month During that time it rained and high winds The interior car had dust and showed water damage I had taken anything of any value in the car out prior to taking car there However I did have some junk in the trunk It looked like they ransacked it They believe the waiver protects them and can do whatever they like This is not specific to this location but is a company culture Look at other reviews See this is so Just don t look at feedback reviews on their website They don t post negative posts I d bet they are posted by employees friends or bought This type of environment no responsibility encourages bad things to happen Another concern would be their payments They claim they take credit cards but this was a lie They told me that they will only take debit They will not take cash either So forced to use debit Debit has NO protection from the bank for fraud Far as the bank is concerned it s cash Could easily change the amount after I walk out the door Looks like a setup to me Don t know about the body work Right now it looks good but let s see in 6 months I think this is a re-skinned Maaco

The location in my town has a lot of kids working there The painter sucks and messes up the paint jobs They let boyfriend and girlfriends work up there together They also let people who are related work there Half the tech call out of work and show up late and the writers flirt with the body techs and text them after work hours The manager tries to be more of a friend than a boss and is also very flirty in her text to employees and I ve found her to be a bit untruthful about job positions You ll probably be waiting a while on your car to be fixed Don t even get me started on how the techs can do 20 hours of work in 2 hours and most of the time your vehicle is not getting factory parts The company buys aftermarket parts that are cheaper You re better off using caliber collision

Don t use Gerber Collison

I brought my car in to Gerber Collision for an insurance collision repair The estimator left off part of the damage to the car in the claim causing me to have to file a second claim with a second deductible They also damaged my stereo and would not fix it They even tried to bill my insurance company to repair it when it wasn t damaged in the accident I had it worked perfectly fine when I brought my car to them And now the tire sensor keeps coming on when the car is warm I feel very taken advantage of and disappointed in the quality control in this country They should have repaired the stereo and tire sensor and not charged me a second deductible to fix my car

Terrible workmanship and customer service

The work performed on the vehicle was poor as they left swirl marks on the vehicle They also cut corners to make insurance company happy The repair shop does not care about the customer and when it was time to get them to correct a problem they refused to take the car back Do not recommend anyone to go there This shop should be closed down if others see the review I would give them zero stars as they are in bed with insurance companies to make the work cheap and that is what they provide a cheap job

my insurance company recommend I go the Gerber Collision in Melbourne FL on Hbiscus Street I was happy with the previous service I received in the past at Tire Kingdom but my insurance company said I needed to go to a shop that could do more sophisticated repairs Big mistake Gerber had a local Firestone replace 2 tires however Firestone never tightly secured one of my hubcaps I have never lost a hubcap previously even when I hit 2 different curbs I requested from Gerber at a minimum a used hubcap I called Gerber at least 8 times over the last 3 months requesting the status of my hubcap I was told repeatedly they would get me one They never did Do not go here

DO NOT GO HEREMy insurance company recommended them and they didn t do a good job Made them redo it they had it two more weeks and still looks like a highschool shop class put it together Fender and bumper don t line up They used cheap aftermarket parts and told me they used OEM parts No comunication Verry rude after I pointed out what was wrong and then they told me thats the best that they can do Go somewhere else Gresham Oregon

Unprofessional

Very difficult to work with Wouldn t give me a window of when they would be coming out to do the work Had to replace parts 3 different times as they were using off brand parts Was yelled at by staff Highly unprofessional

Subpar work and won t provide transportation

I recently had work done on my front and rear bumpers and the quality is disappointing there s excessive orange peel making it look like it was done by an amateur When I tried to schedule an appointment to have it corrected Gerber refused to provide a loaner vehicle even though they need my car for the entire day I have work and other commitments and can t spend the whole day waiting It s unfair that I should bear any costs or inconvenience due to their subpar repair work

This company suck They don t know what they re doing and the ladies all have attitude problems if you want your car repaired correctly do not take it to this company I witnessed one of the workers cussing a customer out after the customer called and complained about their repairs I had a bad feeling about this place Farmington mi location need to be put out of business asap
