After waiting in the queue a few months for this very collectible watch I received notice that Glycine had a supply in stock I placed my order for the Airman 36 No 1 Purist Automatic GL0371 that Monday and by the following Friday it was delivered to my home on Vancouver Island Canada Another job well done by Glycine And my what a fine watch

I have received the watch in less than 24 hours which is more than impressive considering that it came from almost the other side of Europe In any other regards the watch is as it was described

I bought a really nice Combat GL0390 and I must say that the watch surpassed my expectations Then was the delivery lightning fast It was only one thing and when the delivery was on it s way I couldn t find an option for retrieve the package from an FedEx agent Otherwise it was brilliant

I knew that the Glycine Combat Sub 39 would be a very good watch for the price point but I wasn t expecting it to be that good I am very happy with the purchase but I am even more happy for this historic brand as they are still surviving in such a difficult industry in difficult times I am looking forward to try the new Kraken release

Combat Sub 39

Ordered on a Friday arrived on Monday afternoon Super fast shipping to the US with Fedex Package was in great shape and the watch looks awesome The drilled lugs were very convenient as I had previously bought a 20mm black silicone strap to swap out and was able to get the metal band off very quickly I love this watch - the bezel has no slop the indices line up the crown seats very firmly the case polishing is great don t have to worry about water and has a sapphire crystal This may be my last watch for a long time - pretty much everything I could want My previous daily wear was a 36mm quartz Tissot Seastar - also a great watch I m seeing about 6 seconds a day with the Combat Sub which is great for a mechanical watch in my opinion I ve had to figure out the time in the dark of the night a few times and the lume did its job
