DO NOT EVER HAVE ANY DEAL WITH Hermes
DO NOT EVER HAVE ANY DEAL WITH Hermes Yachting AND THE MOST IMPORTANT DO NOT BOOK THE YACH FOR THE NEXT SEASON BASED ON THE BUSINESS MODEL THIS COMPANY IS THE POTENCIAL BANKRUPT COMPANY ALL POSITIVE COMMENTS THEY ARE WRITING BY THEMSELVES PLS READ COMMENTS STARTING FROM THE MID 2022 Now I will write what has happened with me We got the yacht Salted Caramel in Jul 2022 Despite the fact that the boat was produced in 2019 all my team got an impression that this particular boat was already 10 years old or more A lot of scratches and chips all over the boat Unfortunately there were so many of them that there was absolutely no sense to fix them at the check in report as all of them were quite small In the end however we had to pay for all of them As it turned out later this yacht had serious damages in the past and was literally being put back together piece by piece I have a video of huge cracks in the bilges which already require another round of repairs All repairs from the past are of a very bad quality The most awful started upon our return and checking out the boat When checking out the boat I pointed out that main Sail has damages as well as that the seams of the sail come apart from a slight impact on them I have a video proving that If you just hook the seam with your finger it comes apart The seams have come apart all over the surface of the sail This is not the tenant s fault and the sails have critical wear and tear and need major overhaul In the end I have paid 450 EUR for sail repair Then the fun part started Representative of the company discovered some water in the bilges and declared that this requires additional investigation and checks and based on that my deposit won t be returned until all the checks are done Results of this investigation and checks I was waiting for one month and as result I got an invoice with list of the works which were not required there was no need in it But for Hermes Yachting it was important to be creative and come up with works just enough for not returning my deposit SRV-000464 Drydock Services Lift in out of the boat 700 00 EURSRV-000465 Other Works -Transfer the boat from to Lavrio Port 200 00 URSRV-000467 Electrical Works-Bow Thruster inspection 180 00 URSRV-000465 Other Works pcs -Remove Cleaning water from the bilges 300 00 EURSRV-000476 GRP Repairs -Repair crack at the bilge of jet thruster motor 250 00 EURSRV-000476 GRP Repairs pcs -Platform stb side 250 00 EURSRV-000476 GRP Repairs -Inspection of the keel 100 00 EURIn conclusion Hermes Yachting ended up adjusting the amount on the invoice to match the amount of the deposit Allegedly having made the necessary checks When I have requested from Hermes Yachting documents proving and confirming that the works were really done as well as dates during which repairs were done and act of acceptance to and from repairs Hermes Yachting stopped responding As result my deposit of 3 000 euros was fraudulently stolen They have only provided an invoice from their company nothing else On the day of handover out of 7 yachts returning to port 6 had problems with boats Deposit was not returned to none of the customers of Hermes Yachting under different reasons We had to wait for 5 hours in front of the office under the heat because we were not allowed to enter the office They allowed to enter only one by one because with each of the customers they had a conflict situation Each skipper spent approx 2 hours at the Hermes Yachting office demanding deposit back but none of them got it back Hermes Yachting just closed the doors of the office and left We are currently preparing a class action lawsuit against the company Hermes Yachting Everyone who has been affected by this company pls get in touch with me via email chumboris979mail ru

Voucher lost doubtful business practices
UPDATE 2022-12-21They are trying to shy away from the court letter and pretending not to be present at the webpage shared address - well I trust German legislation will find a way to knock a little more intense at their door Else if HERMES keeps shying away the court will make a call anyway - I love German justice STAY AWAY from Hermes they clearly have the potential to screw you Update 2022-11-15After 2 years we are taking Hermes to Court - let s see what they have to say as they refuse any reaction STAY AWAY from a charter with them Update 2022-04-01 Payment reminder without feedback - next step will be via a lawyer Unfortunately it seems like my reviews magically disappear from trustpilot therefore I took the freedom to post on GOOGLE TRIPADVISOR FACEBOOK as well to not have fellow sailors share our poor experience We had a very poor experience starting with the booking process taking advantage of our crew-voucher for a trip that was cancelled due to COVID and finally we received a very pressuring contract with no obligations for HERMES but the ask for more down payment which can be withheld by them for no reason ADD-ON Till today 14th January there is no response from HERMES MR Apostolis Tsarouchas what will happen with our down payment - I count it lost As of today 10th February there is no feedback and we will take legal action More to come Overall my intention is to prevent fellow sailors from this industry harmful experience with that company HOpe this review remains on Trustpilot and is not made redundant as the previous ones - Best regards Michael Huerth skipper

NEVER RENT A BOAT WITH HERMES YACHTING
I m really sorry but my opinion is that you have to avoid these people The boat was really in a bad maintaince status A lot of things where not working properly We left the port for our 2 weeks holiday without anchor light steam light and all the indicator fuel and water were not working The day of the check-in we had to wait from 9 a m to 5 p m to take the boat don t worry they ask you anyway to come back a day before because the out will be on time at 9 p m The boat was dirty and the end they charged us a lot of money on the deposit for damages that we didn t I was not so clever to check everything properly and did not report promptly all the issue trusting in their professionality I did a big mistake
