Housefox are no better than any other

Housefox are no better than any other estate agent We sold our house through housefox and have had such a bad experiance we had to ask the owner of the company to advertise our house on their actual facebook page rather than his personal facebook profile as we hadn t had any interest for the 1st 2 weeks as soon as I highlighted this we had viewings Originally we did the photos and the video of the property due to COVID which we were happy to do however by the time the photographer was arranged and had come to take the photos we had sold using our material The buyer was quite difficult too and Housefox asked to put her directly in touch with us we did agree but if we had known how difficult they were going to be we would have declined We have had nothing from Housefox to say thanks for the 1390 00 we paid them and for the amount of work they actually did we could have done it ourselves All in all a very bad experience

Avoid Very poor service Constantly ignored on planning permission aspect for purchasing property which inevitably turned out to be completely wrong Not spoken to Neil Urch for 2 months up to completion probably embarrassed Put in a very difficult position thanks to their sheer incompetence and ignorance Heard similar stories from neighbours since moving in Should have listened to my solicitors and withdrew as this company didn t deserve a penny of the commission forcing us into a position to break the chain and cost us more by moving twice When collecting the keys didn t even have the professionalism to see me face to face AVOID

Having read reviews I had expected good response but have been disappointed - they accepted a booking and left a message cancelling it just before 5pm the day before It was difficult getting any response from some of my messages After the last minute cancellation I was offered another - but unfortunately I unable to change my work arrangements to accomodate at such short notice I found there was was not much flexibility to view for working person the property was popular and was therefore snapped up But when they dont even bother to get your name right it does rather suggest ambivilence on their part The property involved would sell easily and further viewings were obviously not necessary I get that But overall I was not impressed with the whole journey experienced with them messages left had had to be chased for responses I might have just been unlucky but I record my personal experience I hope others do better

Tim showed us around 2 properties 1 of which we ve just successfully purchased and moved into Tim gave realistic reviews of the properties that considered what we were looking for which really helped us Neil Debbie were great at keeping us updated throughout the process The purchase itself went smoothly which was in part thanks to the House Fox team being on the ball

Not being happy with Estate Agents and

Not being happy with Estate Agents and their efforts fees in the past we thought we would try Housefox They have introduced a more realistic pricing model to the market which fits probably with todays way of life online with no high street office We paid extra for more professional photos at a reasonable cost which helped portray the property at its best and complemented the house details put together well Thereafter and as always it s about luck and getting viewings for which Housefox attend Up against other properties in the immediate area and against traditional agents we managed to secure a sale proving this model actually works Thanks and well done

We used Housefox for a purchase not a sale Tim was excellent From negotiation of the price through to a speedy completion He was always at the end of the phone always phoned back if necessary All in all a great service Will definately recommend them
