First I would like to start my review by saying that I ve been playing on Hypixel for years Most recently I ve been playing casually like once or twice a week I really enjoy playing on the server The games are the best of any server and there is only really the occasional bug or glitch The only true negative to the hypixel server is the watchdog anti-cheat software I got online yesterday and tried to get on the server I was banned for a month The odd thing is that my ban started at about 5 in the morning which I wasn t even online during I appealed the decision but of course the appeal was denied with the same copy and paste message everyone else claims I don t even know what the software thought I was doing I completely understand that an anti cheat software is really difficult to design But in my experience it never bans the most blatant cheaters But any suggestion that the anti cheat software may be flawed immediately gets you laughed out of the forums Overall it is a great server but the anti cheat software is really dodgy

I wanted to try this server out I log on find that I m permabanned by Watchdog anticheat I think I did play this server 1-2 years ago just to see if I like it but stopped after 1-2 days or weeks I have never used hacks on any server I don t even know how to get hacked clients The biggest mods I have used are minimaps shaders and some mod that gives light when holding a torch I ALWAYS ask on a server if I can use these ESPECIALLY the third one I tried submitting an unban request but unfortunately they have so much faith in their anticheat that they are like parents who think their bratty child can never do any wrong Yes the server looks fun but if you ever get wrongly banned by their flawed anticheat you re never getting unbanned and asking them will somehow make them LESS likely to unban you There are other good servers out there Until they remove or fix their flawed anticheat spare yourselves the anguish and find another server for now So that you won t get permabanned like I did

Sure they have a lot of content and they have the best bedwars and skywars but they have so many other problems No one takes knockback I w-tap block hit s-tap everything Even still no one takes knockback even if I double or triple hit them But when someone taps me I go back 4 blocks each time so if someone hit me twice they can knock me off an entire island This doesn t need to be said but Hypixel anti-cheat barely does anything scaffold hacks and b-hopping is a common occurrence Another point is that hypixel will pair me with people that have 13 000 final kills when I have barely over 2 000 how s this fair There are so many other problems with hypixel like my character not stopping after I ve let go of the running keys or people with low connection speed being unstoppable and hypixel just keeps adding new content instead of giving their server an update which can fix all these problems

Their server is good but its so laggy and the ban system is so bad Also my friend got banned by watchdog by doing nothing he was just standing in 1 place

I changed the review No i don t care I m on infected and was alpha Some dude came in and i try to infect him Nope So I either died to hypixel s damn lag or he is hacking Probably the first option

This server was seriously my childhood When I was about 7 i would play on Hypixel ALL THE TIME It was so much fun Later at 14 i wanted to relive the experience until i realized I WAS BANNED for cheating I was using mods for single player but i wasn t even on forge How infuriating Made a repeal and was immediately denied I feel like they have an automatic denying system with no consideration whatsoever Had to move on with tears to mineplex So hypixel your content is great but fix your sh tty watchdog system

Gamemodes with kits are unbalanced completely certain kits are completely broken and unfair The server anticheat is awful hackers don t get stopped by the anti-cheat while the regular everyday players constantly get lagged back due to the anti-cheat believing they have some speed hack The server is also very laggy in general

I don t have too much to say about this server because I ve only been playing on it for around a year but it started out fine I was getting into the pvp mechanics I have a lot of things to complain about it but the games are fun There should be at least some attempt of the server putting you with people that are around as experienced as you in games like Bedwars so you actually have a chance against people who have been playing since 2013 The server moderation is the reason why I can t sleep at night because it is so poor They don t allow advertising which is reasonable but literally every single message counts as advertising I mean it counts yqfgwerygfhuqrehuifhuiqher as advertising The next thing I have to complain about is how the server is always coming down on you for saying words like pu y and I can understand why but you have people on that server who are telling each other to commit suicide That doesn t even get blocked most of the time because they are like MVP or have been in that server for over 8 years The server is also pure lag I know that it is out of Hypixel s control to maintain lag because they support numerous different versions of the game but I ve lost almost 10 games of bedwars because I was kicked for getting glitched in a block Anyways back to the thing about advertising It is not allowed but if you re recording they do every single thing to advertise the server on your vid I ve had an advertisement with the server IP on it at least like 18 times when I was just simply logging in I mean the server focusses on the revenue than making it fun to play the minigames My last complaint is about the occasional hackers on this server You often see people getting banned for some of the most hidden clients Mostly crossplay from Bedrock getting banned but they can t give a crap about people who are flying teleporting and some other very obvious hacks I get that the server is more for the experienced players but they just don t have a welcoming community for those who haven t been playing Minecraft since 2009

THE SERVERS ARE LAGGY COMANDS ARE WAY TO HARD TO USE I REGRET BUYING VIP CAN I GET A REFUND AND ALSO THE NERDS THAT PLAY THIS GAME CAN EAT MY ASS
