Not what I was expecting BUT please see edit

I would like to start by saying the staff were truly lovely really really sweet but the experience itself was lacking I m glad I only paid 5 head for the first session of the day rather than 10 so 15 rather than 30 for the three of us In the dome unfortunately a big chunk of the video was out of visible range so not sure if it was set up wrong on this occasion but as such we could only see the heads of some of the dinosaurs right down the bottom of the dome We didn t get to try the VR properly as my son was scared within seconds which is a shame as I think that is a big part of the experience As for everything else you can make slime a 2 minute activity have your face painted and do egg arts and crafts just blank eggs and a few felt tips on the table when we went thats it The ad mentioned a fossil dig but that was nowhere to be seen I booked this based on glowing reviews so I cant help be disappointed I m afraid Edited to add that the manager contacted me after reading this review and kindly offered a do-over with extras having rectified some of the issues I mentioned Unfortunately we wont have time to go back but really appreciate the gesture and concern the company have shown While our experience on the day is still valid I m sure that it was a very rare occurrence and the customer service after care is impressive Maybe we will try again if they come back in future

The dome was fantastic films a little lacklustre

The dome was fantastic It was large and easily able to fit a class of 8 wheelchairs in Our instructor was also great more than willing to change and adjust the videos to try to suit the children s abilities and needs What made our experience average were the videos themselves They appeared grainy and a little dull in terms of the clarity of the images The videos themselves also were a little slow and lacklustre in comparison to others we have had and seen in the past

Brilliant experience and knowledgeable staff member The only down fall was one of the classes did not have their full allocated time in space dome

Pupils were really engaged

Pupils were really engaged They were made to try things that they wouldn t have seen before and some previously shy kids were happy to look a bit silly

It was a really great immersive

It was a really great immersive experience that gave he children a real WOW factor The children were engaged and it stimulated generating lots of discussion throughout the lesson and back at school in the classroom

The guides

The guides aged 10-15 were totally engaged throughout their 40 minute sessions Matt was obliging with the arrangements Originally it was difficult to communicate with the company regarding the booking

Immersive provided a unique adaptable space installed by a fantastic production team and their engineers carefully managed the 3 day event When you re organising and running an event knowing you have experts who think creatively by your side is sheer heaven

The immersive team were fantastic

The immersive team were fantastic from start to finish The planning was very smooth and we were given a thorough explanation of what they could achieve the requirements and plans for on-site before we booked They arrived on site with plenty of time to set up and were efficient in their delivery of the programs session turn arounds and attending to the students needs throughout the day They kept 80 children under control at any one time and were extremely professional within a school environment It was a pleasure working with the team and we hope to work together again
