Best Free Hosting Service bad otherwise

Recommended if you need a free hosting provider best you can find Though would not recommend for any other reason Would recommend finding another hosting provider if you have the money ex NodeClusters is a small hosting company with extremely affordable pricing InfinityFree staff have no patience and can be quite rude used them for years beforehand

Nice set of features that doesn t work half the time

Well the offer seems to be a great deal amongst free plans - unlimited space and bandwidth no ads latest MySQL and PHP custom domain support and even free SSL One small problem - the sevice is mostly inaccessible Since registration I had problems with SSL activation Ok that was fixed 3 days after it was reported by me and other users Now many sites including mine can t be loaded the server is down for a week already can t ping the IP And all of this in less than a month so the 99 9 uptime doesn t seem correct according to my math

2 stars Simplified Quickly enough though their little shady scheme that makes it all possible starts becoming apparent Having overly sensitive protection services that mark your website as malicious for no good reason Then suspending your account and blaming you for it Then parking the website to a bunch of shady adverts my account keeps getting suspended secound time in 2-days

BEWARE Infinity Free hosting is not unlimited

BEWARE Infinity Free web hosting sounds great but in practice is another try-for-free-now-but-pay-later or get suspended It is far from unlimited as their Terms of Service stipulate pages and pages of limitations These are blindly enforced by error-prone automated monitors Though reviewed by a person their job is to move you to fee-based hosting It s just business that some may find ruthless and lacking compassion for your many hours invested in building a website I learned the hard way but had backed up all my work

MySQL drops connections FTP down most of the time

MySQL server drops connections Then your website shows DB error and you have to reload the page FTP server refusing connections most part of the day returning maximum number of users already connected and works veeeery slow over night There is literally no support If your stuck with a problem - you write a post on their forum and other victims sharing their sorrow so you will not feel alone

I shifted my wordpress to there free

I shifted my wordpress to there free hosting but their infrastructure is not stable pops up error everywhere can t upload a simple image Not even hotlink work what the f k The site visibility reduced and further their innodes shows 1753 hits of traffic where I have only 11 visitor in my blog I thankfully keep copy of everything on blogger and wp com but the reliebility is doubtfull Use at your risj

My experiment

I wanted to try out hosting a couple of pages and this service is absolutely fantastic to have for free But that also comes with unbearable outages I ve to wait for the DB or the site to be up in the first place and populate a page and refresh boom the site is down If the service stabilizes then I ll definitely pick one of the paid options

Good for Dev Horrible for going live Suspended Account Frequenty

its a great place for dev work but as soon as I went live with my website within minutes it suspended my account telling HIT limit My website has only 3 pages and the limit is like 50k I also have a counter on my web pages common footer which updates on every refresh it it shows 748 which means no way I could reach 50k limit but it still did suspend my account for 24 hours This is not done and I am moving on to a new provider who is better for go live when you want to go live

Why 2 starts only

Why 2 starts only - Certificate is not that good- Can t setup cloudflare own domain of course - Can t use OpenGraph too many errorsThey provided a documentations about this already but non of their method works or might be very outdated You can t use this website for non-professional professional You can use this for personal use only since everything is LIMITED Only for limited debugging and testing VERY limited for testing

Infinity net suspended all my accounts just because they said my sites were DDOS attacked

OMG the Infinity net permanent suspended all my three websitesjust because my websites suffered DDOS attacks I had created these three accounts just 2 months before they were suspended forever So much disappointed because Infinity net used to claim that those websites suffered exceeding traffics will be suspended only 24h but they suspended mine permanently and required me to use their IFastnet Too much unreliable
