This review is with very heavy heart The booking and outward collection were exceptional The driver was just lovely and assisted with luggage and great car very comfortable However the arrivals collection was awful The driver was lovely to talk with but no assistance with luggage not at pick up point wondered off whilst I struggled with trolley Car was very grubby I had done dessert safari and car immaculate and inside there was litter in boot and seat pockets The worst part though is that he was facilitated and let down by the office staff Three women who frankly were utterly useless Travelling as a lone female having the registration number vehicle type and driver as happened first journey the staff hung up calls and the car was literally parked a long way from arrivals the driver was not at the collection point with other drivers I would not recommend on this basis The office staff totally let down hard working drivers and not doing admin correctly I would say on this basis it is not a safe or reliable service

In my search for a taxi from Eastbourne to Gatwick I turned to Google for assistance Unfortunately the numbers I dialed were either engaged quoted exorbitant prices or went unanswered Fortunately my quest led me to Jewel Cars Gatwick Airport taxi Service Not only did they provide a fantastic price but the driver was also enthusiastic friendly and engaged in pleasant conversation during the journey Overall I am very satisfied with the experience I m optimistic that when I require their services again from Eastbourne I will encounter the same reasonable pricing and excellent service

Punctual and comfortable

We booked with Jewel Cars Gatwick five days in advance through Minicabit On the morning of our journey we got a notification our driver had been assigned his name the make and licence plate of his car useful information if the pick-up point had been in a busy area Since we were being picked up in the middle of Canterbury finding our cab was not a problem At the appointed pick-up time on the dot we received a phone call from the nice driver telling us he was ready and our 1h15m journey to Gatwick from there was comfortable in a clean spacious and quiet car the driver also driving rather efficiently and arriving even before the stipulated time If we ever find ourselves in need of a minicab again and Jewel Cars is the best option available we won t hesitate to use them again
