Deceptive marketing tactics

It promotes a course on their website and then when you select that course to actually purchase it it tries to upsell you to a more expensive bundle containing other courses you don t care about and doesn t give you the option of buying the originally advertised course

my expectation and suggestions

I started with many of your youtube projects but none of them got completed and wasted hours and hours on debugging Your projects are slower version of copy paste no learning is there most of them are projects depricated and i just get burned out while debugging So I would kindly suggest make smaller projects with more learning where beginners can also cope up thats it Doesn t matter if ui looks bad but teach the functionality properly Hope you will take note of it Good luck

Best and effective JavaScript resources I have come across Please I want to offer an opinion to do a full JavaScript tutorial Thank you for the resources you offer to us on Youtube

One aspect that truly made JavaScript Mastery my favorite JavaScript learning resources platform is the emphasis on practical hands-on projects The technical and broken down problem solving skills This practical approach significantly enhanced my understanding and prepared me for the challenges of the industry

I enrolled in the Masterclass and found

I enrolled in the Masterclass and found it to be all marketing BS Here s why First there are 1-on-1 mentoring sessions but mentors don t really mentor students They just attend the sessions because Adrian has made it That s it They don t care about mentoring you because it s just their second job Second Adrian doesn t teach the class Random developers teach students They have their jobs so they don t care about your projects Adrian also pretends to care for students but is busy making YouTube videos I felt it was not their priority Third regarding the code view the random dudes who are mentors have their jobs and don t have enough time to thoroughly review every line of code As a result they only review what they feel like reviewing in your PRs Lastly the career development They don t have career coaches One of the mentors who are random dudes will do the career development They are just developers There are many great career coaches on YouTube TikTok IG etc This is a joke that random dudes do the career development In conclusion it s important to be wary of their marketing tactics I recommend checking the LinkedIn profiles of past graduates to see if the Masterclass truly delivers on its promises If grads have found jobs it s likely due to their own efforts rather than the effectiveness of the Masterclass P S Their YouTube videos are great tho -----------------Edit July 7 20241 Jake is my middle name so you have no record of it 2 I said random developers because this is their second job there s no commitment If you expect Adrian to review any line of code it s not the place Just watch his YouTube videos 3 He only does workshops He doesn t do the most important thing which is reviewing your code 4 Just check their grads GitHub and LinkedIn And see their commit history or their portfolio Some of them wouldn t even have a portfolio and many of grads are still struggling to get a job 5 They don t even have dedicated career coaches The random developers will do the career mentorship Summary At the end of the day he s a businessman Just read what I have to say do your research before investing your money Renaming and rebranding the masterclass to a dev career accelerator won t fix the issues

1 Not able to resolve any issues as

1 Not able to resolve any issues as Project was based on NextJS 13 5 version and as I was working on NextJS 14 on which it created lots of version related issues and Hydration error and even after mentioning error on the JS mastery group I wasn t getting any desired resolution resulted in incompletion of the project 2 As many of the candidates are new to NextJS 14 project you need to provide all basic technicality related tutorials first then you can move to Project as it was very difficult to get basic understanding of each functionality and component Conclusion You need to provide first basic tutorials from scratch then we can directly move to project as it become very difficult to get tuned

Mastery class price

There is no clear indication on how much the mastery course cost so when taking the quiz I chose the lowest option to see what would happen And I was rejected when I was genuinely interested in joining
