I like that the free course used body language and eye contact as a basis in training When we first adopted our pup she had difficulty with eye contact especially in training It is still a weak point with her Thinking this training may help her be less reactive and more willing to look to us for behavior cues

I have looked at so many training programmes for my quite troubled rescue pup This free workshop though really helped me understand more about how dogs think and what they need I didn t want to bribe with treats I wanted to connect so we understood each other and we both understood what was needed To make progress my pup needs to be connected to me she needs to know what to do and understand her job This workshop helped me understand what I needed to do to get her there

It was a surprise how much useful

It was a surprise how much useful information there is in the introductory video Just from it I learned the psychology behind how dogs communicate and learned that dogs respond best to body language and having a job to do The real life examples shown are convincing and applicable in dealing with other peoples dogs though not training them which takes longer EG use of eye contact and bodily response with a dog that greets you by jumping up on you There are other useful tips in the free introductory video Thank you Dr Diaz and colleagues for this help

What made my experience great Is I did not know you have to give a dog a job And how much sense that makes and how to train My new dog a completely different way than I thought Thank you for putting that on facebook so people could see it

Bonnie Lassie I have completed the K9

Bonnie Lassie I have completed the K9 Master class program She has learnt much so have I with the training I am still having trouble with her obsessively barking at the neighbor s fence The door barking video is not the same scenario that Bonnie is exposed too Can you give me any further tips I did send an email to you with the above request however the reply seemed to be an automatic email that seemed intent on selling the Master Class program not specific to my question It was not very helpful

This experience was so amazing for my family and I The patience displayed by himself and team was great We haven t interacted with dogs in years due to a bad situation I recommend anyone with a phobia of dogs too welcome K-9 into your home its life changing
