Came quickly Well packed Great product Would recommend The kefir activated very quickly

I m writing this after completing my first batch

I m writing this after completing bottling - and using - my first batch And it seems ok so I m happy out I ordered on a Thursday before a bank holiday weekend and the grains didn t arrive till the Tuesday so I expected them to need a fair bit of activation Still I put the 20g of grains into 1l milk and in the first 24 hours nothing happened 48 hours and nothing 12 hours later there was a fair bit of thick stuff on the top of the jar and the beginnings of separation into whey so I sieved and bottled Used some for breakfast and was pleased with the result though I expect the taste to improve after a week or two I m happy with my purchase from kefirgrains ie My only issue is that no matter how hard I looked I couldn t find the activation instructions and eventually found them elsewhere maybe I m blind of course Where I found them there was a good set of photos of the kefir activation at various stages and that was very helpful so I d really recommend kefirgrains ie to see if the activation instructions can be made more easy to find and to add some photos One further thing the site says that the grains come with full instructions I didn t find what came that comprehensive and actually the leaflet told me to find instructions on the website so I felt that the sales pitch was a tad misleading there However bottom line the grains seem fine and I m looking forward to making my very own from now on
