All very quick and efficient until you

All very quick and efficient until you actually need to contact them and make changes All I wanted to do was change the bank account that my loan repayments came from by direct debit For whatever reason Lendable decided this could not be done for my particular account a standard current account I have held for over 25 years despite several other companies not having any issues setting up direct debits on the same account on the same day They managed to make what should be an incredibly simple process complicated to the point that I gave up I ve had to leave my old bank account open so I could continue to pay them Bit rubbish really

Several times I requested to change my repayment date to 27th of the month and this was confirmed by two advisers via email Inexplicably a couple of days later another adviser emailed me saying my repayment date has been set to 5th of every month Confusing and stressful

My experience was that paying of a loan

My experience was that paying of a loan early July 23 and I have good payment history they have had 8 weeks to update my credit file and no trace of transaction Also impossible to speak to a member of the team no calls to them answered Hope they get the message this way This review is an error and should have been creation loans

Awful Customer service

The general customer service is REALLY BAD They have a live chat which isn t really a live chat calling contact number you re waiting for at least 30 40 mintues before you have someone answer it Email your waiting days for a response Awful

Lots of messing about Rang me twice at a weekend when I could not ring back as they don t open weekends according to their answerphone Had to send proof of earnings 3 times to different operators Very messy and awkward to get a straight answer from

I was already advised that I had chance of approval and that I would be advised within a couple of hours of confirmation although weekends could take longer It took 4 days and 3 phone calls from myself before authorised At no point did anyone contact to say there was any issue which in actual fact there wasn t

The lenders were quick to lend me

The lenders were quick to lend me money but the interest seems very high 88 per month on a 2000 loan The interest rate varies but seems to have jumped very high recently With the cost of living and my request for some help I ve just been asked to fill out a form They don t seem to be helping people on low incomes

Approved for a loan through Experian Unfortunately not the quick process I was led to believe My bank account has not been able to connect to the truelayer system despite appearing and clicking on my account it returns to the lendable site where the box says due to technical issues we can t connect to your bank account please try again in an hour This has been going on all day Don t know if it s a problem with lendable or truelayer but my application is just in limbo can t progress or cancel it

Lendable erroneously provided incorrect information to credit referral agencies resulting in a significant negative impact

I was initially pleased to have easy access to a loan but unfortunately they made a significant mistake that caused a lot of problems with my credit score I called them to request a postponement of one of my payments just to give myself a little breathing room They agreed to this and explained a new plan which I initially accepted happily However before ending the call they mentioned that they had to inform the credit agencies about the change Upon reflection I changed my mind and requested the cancellation of this plan immediately They complied and I reverted to my original payment plan It s important to note that all of this occurred during the same phone call One day I woke up to find that my Barclaycard credit limit had been decreased from 5000 to 850 which came as a big shock to me Upon investigation I discovered that Lendable had provided incorrect information to credit referral agencies stating that they had a payment agreement with me This misinformation had a significantly negative impact on my credit score leading Barclaycard to reduce my credit limit Despite Lendable acknowledging their mistake and sending corrections to all credit referral agencies the damage had already been done and Barclaycard informed me that I would need to wait 4-6 months before requesting an increase Feeling frustrated and angry I decided to close my Barclaycard account today It s disheartening to see the mess caused by Lendable s error
