Very disappointing - very amateurish Exploitive
I m quite amazed that such a long established and large online organisation has such a poor quality of technical operation and management I have done work for this company off and on for a number of years and in summary I would say that they are generally incompetent due to having continuous technical issues which never seem to be resolved - despite constantly notifying them Ultimately this results in it costing you time in trying to sort things out And you never get compensated for all of your wasted time I have over 25 years online IT full stack experience - and I can tell you that some of their technical glitches are basic and easily resolved if the right people were involved to sort things out Sadly though when raising a support ticket you often get the same answer we are aware of the problem - please keep notes and contacting us with any further problems I m aware of some crucial technical glitches which have been happening for over 1 year One major problem is actually getting paid for the work you ve done They often rely on you to raise a support ticket just to get paid what you are owed I wonder how much free work they are getting off thousands of people Some of their training is poorly written ambiguous and badly organised And their client portal is poorly organised making it sometimes difficult to locate the correct information - which is very amateurish They are untrustworthy when it comes down to working tasks - and can suddenly stop work without prior notice In fact I ve just discovered that myself and others have not been paid for a portion of work - which once again I will have to raise a support ticket for - again taking unpaid time to chase what is legally mine Another one off task I took on with them had a technical problem which meant I took longer just to try and make it work After raising a support ticket I was told later that the fault had been fixed to me it seemed it hadn t been tested properly before being launched and that to get paid I had to do the tasks again I didn t get paid for all of the earlier failed attempts due to their faulty setup The payment portal they use makes it very difficult to accurately locate what you have actually been paid for - further giving them an advantage with their incompetency and exploitation Personally I feel the company should be fully investigate by an independent 3rd party - and that the CEO and all senior personnel be personally accountable for any proven exploitation or even illegal trading practices I certainly wouldn t want to be associated with such a bad operation as management My advice for anyone considering working for Lionbridge is to be aware of technical problems poor training badly organised user interfaces poor payment handling - and unreliable source of income And of course your hourly rate will probably be below the minimum legal requirement - if you factor in all of the extra time you have to work to resolve the technical admin training and payment problems

Completely f disastrous I spent hours and hours studying for a role only to encounter a bug in the exam I reached out for help 3 months later I STILL need help Only automatic responses that reply after your first email But after that nothing 3 F Months Stay away for your own good

Don t be sure to get paid for your job at Lionbridge I have had a job that they cannot pay for because they refuse to have received any of the documents Their platform didn t work and I was allowed to zip the files I have no chance to solve the problem and I only find out that there is a problem by contacting them to hear the status for the payment I have had other jobs for Lionbridge where I have been paid Some of it worked just fine other after asking for the payment more than once though

Proffesional scam company Avoid them
Scam Run away from them They hide all the info put you to work after a couple of exams and if you re lucky you make a misery but next month you ll do better you ll see they ll add Typical Scam Company paying for lawyers and marketing guys and using new slavery methods for real workers If you search properly you ll find some groups of affected users If you don t and just Google for Is Lionbridge scam as I did in the beginning you ll find reviews written paid by them everything sounds really nice in order to appear on top of the search results and hide the real reviews Bunch of liars Just a tip don t waste a minute with them

They said I didn t get the 80 pass mark but I had all the questions checked by an ex-colleague who has a Masters s degree in the English language She said 95 of my answers were correct Anyway today I decided to log back in and hey presto I got in but the website was more or less blank People avoid this like the plague Obviously run by a bunch of amateurish ars holes
