Horrible recorder

I used medal for a long time back when it was actually great but they ruined it a few months ago by adding a watermark In the videos So now I have to pay 10-20 dollars just to extract the clips without the watermark and find a better platform I can t stress enough how bad this recording service is They removed screen resolution in the settings so if you play csgo and play 4 3 your clips will look awful and you can t change it in the editor I have to use premiere pro to change it DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS

Useless now due to recent changes

The app was amazing for a good year or two that I used it It allowed you to take recordings trim and upload them to share with friends really easily However a recent patch about a year or so ago limited the upload length of videos to 2 minutes basically rendering the app useless for most people unless it s to share a short kill But for most of the games I have I want to share the entire gun fight which tends to run 4-10min Trimming to just kill shots would be useless and boring I had put in a request to extend it back to 10min but even after a year they merged my ticket to a newer one and closed it without stating anything It s unfortunate because they could have competed with other recording apps with a better business strategy and the right updates

always needs an update and never tells you

unless youre okay with it opening EVERY SINGLE TIME you open your pc dont bother using it updates every other day and doesnt do it automatically so if you forget to open it it gets none of your clips useless

The Client is super laggy and there are many bugs

The Client is super laggy I have a 5000 dollar PC and It cannot run what is supposed to be a simple app Medal TV In the background it takes a whole GB to record and the editor sucks Its super laggy and very hard and inconvenient to put in clips While editing the Music in the background keeps muting its self without me touching it The Editing is only limited to 2 minutes for each clip and has very few VFX effects to make a good edit I highly only recommend using Medal to track clips but if you are looking to edit your montages Medal is one of the worst editing software you can use Again Medal is super laggy its super hard to edit clips using this client

buggy app

the editor is so buggy oml and the clipping doesn t even work sometimes it was working fine a year ago and plus when i try to to publicly post it it just glitches out i ll rather not clip than using medal and plus you have to pay 20 dollars to remove a watermark and the software is just straight up trashreminder dont ever download medal or spent money on on the app

It was a great but devs got greedy

It was a great application when I started using it I could make clips and trim them post and share easily However one random day without any heads up the app didnt allow uploading clips longer than 2 minutes long In games where positioning and rotations give context to a fight like Tarkov for example most interesting fights are obviously longer than 2 min I put in a complaint with support a lot of people supported it yet even a year later they haven t done anything Don t remove features without an alternative Thats just bad business and for that medal tv is going with the irreputable apps i would recommend NOT to use

Lost almost all my clips

Lost almost all my clips TWICE They literally have 2 jobs take the clip and store the clip Yet somehow on multiple occasions now all my memories have just vanished and are unrecoverable If you want to lose your clips these guys are the way to go but if you are like me and want to actually hold onto them then please do yourself a favor and never get this terrible platform and if you have friends that use it advise them to stop

Want an app that consistenly sucks Use Medal then Always has some kind of issue game volume isn t right noise supression doesn t work some how it doesn t pick up noise bla bla bla This app utterly sucks use OBS and save yourself the headache
