The staff I met were very professional helpful and reassuring Although I was very nervous the process was very efficient and was not intimidating with everything being explained Car parking facility immediately outside the building I would recommend them

Relaxing and Accessible Upright MRI Experience at MedSerena - special shout out to Maninder

I recently had an upright MRI scan for my CCJ and whole spine at MedSerena and the experience was exceptional Maninder the radiographer was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to accommodate my hearing impairment With earplugs in I couldn t hear much so she made sure I could always see her mouth and even wrote instructions on a post-it note to make things easier for me This thoughtful approach made a world of difference The scan took over two hours with multiple position changes but this actually gave me the chance to stand up and stretch which was great Maninder also noticed that some positions caused me discomfort due to my condition not the MRI scanner and gave me a little extra time to walk around and stretch which was much appreciated One of the best parts of the experience was being able to watch Mamma Mia with subtitles during the scan Even without sound it was still enjoyable and the open setup of the machine felt like sitting in a chair watching TV completely different from the confined feeling of a traditional MRI I was initially worried about feeling anxious during the long scan but the whole experience was surprisingly relaxing The location is lovely as well perfect for grabbing a coffee before or after your appointment The building itself is very clean smart and welcoming and I was seen right on time with no delays Overall I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it 10 10

From first point of contact I was made to feel valued The booking over the phone was easy and everything was fully explained Every one I came into contact with was friendly polite professional and reassuring I can t have the traditional tunnel MRI due to claustrophobia The radiologist explained everything to me and put my mind at rest The upright open MRI was such a positive experience There is nothing to make you feel claustrophobic it was less noisy than the traditional MRI and the radiologist was visible and talked to me throughout I can praise Medserena enough Those pre ious sleepless nights and worrying when I had previous tunnel MRI scans I highly recommend Medserena

Easy to book and telephone operator very helpful as she managed to bring the appointment forward Clear about the process and email updates to confirm details of scan The Scan com Dr prior to the scan was absolutely lovely I felt for once someone was listening and hearing what the difficulty was and did a thorough telephone assessment Emails forward with confirmation instructions and directions Staff on reception welcoming offered refreshments Seating area comfortable clean Technician very good reassuring Results in a couple of days and explanation of provided by the same Dr so continuity of care All in all it was a positive experience of a not so positive situation Thank you

I cannot fault the care that i received at Medserena in Manchester From the minute I walked in until the minute I left They showed kindness and compassion In fact the Administrator was extremely helpful from the minute I rang to enquire about an appointment
