The rating I would give Breeze will be a 5 The reason for the 5 because the team communicated with me in a timely manner to request documents and provide updates on my application Once the application was approved an agent picked up the phone immediately to explain the terms and conditions of the policy Overall great support from the team

Solid experience for affordable disability insurance
Overall experience is definitely a 5 out of 5 I wanted a digital-only experience I was not interested in working with a person who might try to upsell me unless I needed a question answered After all there s plenty of self-education online this workflow was simple and it was easy to understand what exactly I was about to purchase I also enjoyed the little explainers with each feature rider benefit that helps paint a picture of the policy I happened to be approved as applied so it was convenient to contact a person when I needed clarity and otherwise just sit and wait until the process was complete Very comfortable experience

If you re looking for STD for maternity parental leave
I work at a private childcare center the owner just recently opened the second location so she doesn t offer short long term disability yet So I went looking on my own for short term disability and I found Breeze It was quick and easy process to apply and I was approved in about 4 business days I applied for short term disability because my husband and I would like to have a family soon so I also added the family share rider which pays you while you take FMLA since under their policy STD doesn t cover maternity leave or pregnancy unless there are complications that prevent work I also spoke with customer service after receiving my full policy by email to clarify a few things I was almost immediately connected to a professional who knew how to answer all my questions and let me give her a few scenarios and she knew exactly how to answer them I 100 recommend Breeze for insurance hopefully they add individual parental leave

I am really happy that I came across this company The whole process from start to finish took less than 15 min They help understand complicated insurance terms and break down the enrollment process to easy steps As a result I got very affordable disability insurance with great coverage and a simplified enrollment process

I love that they sent me text reminders
I love that they sent me text reminders to update my payment method as my purse was stolen and it s a pain keeping up with what I needed to update I also like that there were no late penalties Great customer service all around

Excellent Customer Service
Everyone I talked to was very friendly and personable I actually enjoyed talking with the woman I sadly can t remember her name who called me to ask a question about my application The people from Assurity did a nice job of keeping me in the loop with where my application was at with text email updates where I never felt like I was in the mysterious underwriting black whole I ve felt at other times with other companies And there were no surprises about price increases or anything like that I wish if I logged onto breeze s website there would be ways to service my account like make a payment change payment method etc At this point all I see is premium coverage and policy number It gives me information but there s really nothing I can do
