Learners frequently report significant improvements in their photography skills and appreciate the flexibility of online, self-paced learning. Conversely, negative feedback consistently focuses on the high cost of the courses and disappointment with outdated materials or inadequate support. Would be nice to have printed course

Would be nice to have printed course for all courses Some of the pictures don t match up with what is being talked about It would be nice to have an instructor check in once and awhile to see how it s going and find out if there is any questions and to offer up encouragement

I loved the experience I got from the Professional Photography Course

I loved the experience I got from taking this class They made it easy to communicate and really understood when life got in the way I think a live class would be beneficial like maybe one a month offered so we get real time teaching instead of just videos

Photography Course

For the most part the pro photography course was vary good and the instructors helpful however because it was a revamp which evolved from many years there was a lot of content which could have been either deleted or updated I would also have liked to have had more reviewed exercises

The course starts out very basic and

The course starts out very basic and builds on it step by step I am about half way done and I have learned more from this course than all of the other instruction aids I have used previously Even if you think you already know it all it is a very good structure for expanding your skills The course provides a strong foundation and it is not just learning how to shoot but more importantly it explains why things happen the way they do I am very pleased and looking forward to completing this course and going on to others with NYIP

Overall positive experience

So far everything has been great If I call the student center with a question they are always helpful and if they don t have the answer they will find someone who does Course content is well written and covers all aspects needed to give a well rounded understanding and education The only thing I would suggest is to have a little more real life demonstrations via video for those of us who are a little more visual learners The written content is great but seeing something first hand can give just that much more clarity and understanding to something It isn t needed on everything just maybe on the more complex content But overall I am liking my experience and can already see improvement in my skills

NYIP is a great structured way to learn

NYIP is a great course when you start from scratch and you want a structured learning plan It didn t feel that this is all I need to become a great photographer but it sets you up to ask the right questions and for me encouraged me to do some additional research and practicing sessions beyond the course The course comes with a great big and helpful community of current and ex students to help you out and depending on wich mentor checks your work at the end of each chapter you can get some really helpful feedback I am glad I chose this method of Learning

I really like the style of the learning

I really like the style of the learning experience through the website However there were a few things I wish had been different There is not enough communication between the student and professor assignment criteria is not detailed enough I would have like more encouragement and discussion about my strength and weakness In addition I feel as though content is VERY old and out of date feels like the website sample photos and videos have been used for years and there has not been any update into the website for a long time

Half of the teacher reviews gave

Half of the teacher reviews gave important comments Thought this would be a stronger part of the program Not being able to have a two way conversation with them is a major weakness in the program Having professors who specialize in the specific classe s subject area would also improve the comments content Enjoying the course work and learning a lot Chat room had no participants Enrolled in a new course and when sighing in and selecting your course it directs me to the one I have completed Have to figiout how to access new course

Great contents

Great contents Do have 2 recommendations Will be great to have seminars sessions across various states location can be selected based on no of students in a given region This will give students to ask for questions or clarification face to face Will be great if NYIP can release an App for iOS and Android versions It becomes easier to follow material on-the-go Thank youAbhishek

I am now taking the online professional

I am now taking the online professional photography course It would be ideal course for me to take a synchronous class where you had to report at 9 AM for the lecture or whatever However this is the best I could find and so far I m happy It s much more difficult than I thought I just received the feedback from my instructor for the first lesson It is a 10 minute audio-recorded lecture The feedback was very constructive and insightful The only negative I could say is it doesn t allow you to immediately reply to the instructor I think it s possible to send him a message on the system if you log out of the course But I understand if you had endless go-betweens it would overload the instructors with work
