I started process in May paid deposit

I started process in May paid deposit on May 31st Got drawing and deminision were wrong 4 different times I had to have my concrete guy pull anchor bolts because it was wrong then finally got that right and was told the building would be here at the end of July well that gets here and something was wrong so I m told second week in August then last week in august then it will for sure be here the second week in September it s still not here and they won t even return my phone call it s been over 90 days of lying on when it will be here Would not recommend this company to anybody this is the worst costumer service I have ever dealt with nothing but a scam

Run away fast

They have had my 2800 deposit since June 3 I was promised my blue prints in two weeks and the delivery of my building on July 16th My blueprints showed up 2 weeks late and we re the wrong hight and dimensions I emailed my salesman for two more weeks without a response finally a girl from shipping called to up sell me doors and insulation instead I told her what s been going on with my order she had me get ahold of heath who said he would look into it and get right back to me I never heard from heath again About two more weeks of trying to get some action once again Carla from shipping called to up sell me doors and insulation again I told her that no one will help me and I wanted my money back She got me in touch with the drafting dept who said for 4500 more I could get the building that I wanted I told them I wanted my money back Finally I got ahold of Victor head of sales who told me my salesman was fired and no one took over his accounts I told vic I wanted my money back he said no and I repeated it again he said that I signed a contract and good luck with getting my money back things got heated and he started yelling at me I ask him to stop but he continued so I hung up the phone he called me back and said it was just loud were he was and claimed that s why he was yelling after that he listened to my problem and made several excuses why no one had ever tried to contact me I agreed to try one more time to settle this with a correct design of the building I had originally ordered he told me they would not honor the price I was originally given and the building I wanted would be 3500 more I told him I would give them one last chance to make this right and I told him before he did anything else send me a rudimentary drawing to make sure that we were on the same page so to speak He agreed and said I would have it by the end of business that day that was 2 weeks ago I have called or txt him every day to remind him thats all I need to see before I sign a new contract You would think after all they put me through someone would return my calls but as of today I have never received a call from anyone

Lost Sale due to Lack of Customer Service Skills

We were going to just email the company but there is not one to send it to I debated about sending this email but feel compelled to let you know you lost a sale We received a call from Ben stating he had a 30x38 building that was ordered by someone that then changed their mind wow just read same review below He was offering it at cost for 13 500 He asked for 4500 down to hold it We explained to him we have to close on our home sale next week and could not do so until then He called again changing the down payment to 1000 500 to 100 We AGAIN tried to explain but couldn t get a word in This guy would NOT listen We got a bad feeling like this was a scam We asked for a picture of what the building looked like I am not kidding he actually had us draw a square with a square in the middle and said that s what it looked like Unbelievable With all this said I really think he needs some training on customer service skills We have since found another building exactly what we wanted for 2k less

Misleading Website Poor Service Worse Attitude

We were shopping for a medium size storage barn - 30x50x12 and had a price quote from a local manufacturer already After reviewing the build information on Olympia s website we wanted to get a quote for the same size building from them No problem right Just fill out the Get A Price Estimate form on their website and we should be all set Not so fast What I received was a reply back from Kevin Keiffer saying that It is virtually impossible to provide any level of pricing based on a dimension alone Really That s all the pricing form on YOUR website requested If you need more ask for it upfront or just give a base price for the building and then let us discuss the add-on options that I need I reply back and ask him why that s all the info they request and below if the reply I get back Here s what I drew from it - we re not putting our conversation in writing so you can hold me to it later on but I ve got some overstock that I ll sell you on sale if you buy today If you are truly serious about buying a steel building and are in a position to place a deposit within 24-48 hours and are able to accept delivery of a building in 60 days or less we need to TALK Not email I m sorry to sound so direct but if you are not able or ready to work with those qualifiers and under these aggressive requirements it is highly doubtful we can help you Thanks but no thanks Olympia I just got back from signing the contract with the local manufacturer who but the way has pricing for their buildings clearly detailed on their website No surprises there

They say their policy is do not pay a deposit prior to work done

Yet they request you do to a 1099 Subcontactor who never shows This Company is playing us Lost 2 deposits and 2 no shows

Not impressed with Olympia at all We ordered a second building because everything went so well the first time guess time takes a toll on a company Long story short the new building has tons of issues and the roll up door openings were not the size I requested I called the salesman who wasn t helpful and wanted to charge me a huge amount of money to send the correct parts on top of the huge building cost I already paid Then I called just to talk to the parts dept Said I would get a call back two months has gone by no phone call We are now putting up the building only to find that the grey I thought I was getting is almost white and not the same grey as we have on the previous building The building isnt the same quality and the all the beams showed up red instead of grey so now I have to paint them as no one told me they would be red This entire build has been completely disappointing and frustrating as nothing is the same I would not recommend them to anyone and will never by from them again

Do not buy one of these pre-fab

Do not buy one of these pre-fab buildings from Olympia Steel if you are going to use their contractor in the area to put one up We have been waiting over a year to get this 30x40 built No local contractors want to mess with it The contractor for the area won t show up when the concrete is poured like he says he will Won t show up at all I keep getting the next month three weeks next month time frame If you have the equipment to build this by yourself then this building could possibly work for you If not do not believe they have some one to come out 13 months and a lot of money vested and I have a pretty concrete slab and not much else

Minus 10 Stars Same story as others They have a building almost the same size as I need but the guy who ordered it bought a bigger lot and purchased a bigger building so you can have this for the balance due 31 000 great deal Me That s too much Him Did I say 31000 I meant 23000 I m just the forklift driver trying to move this building off the dock for my boss What a bunch of BS wanted deposit now without sending me photos or other information Huge red flag A few weeks went by and I thought I must have made a mistake and called a different place so I called back and got the same guy the same BS story and boy did I ever lay into him They should be investigated and charged with fraud
