This is an amendment to a previous review I wrote which OpenFair asked for It s worse now My partner and I asked for updates which they don t do We were told EVERY business would be sold in 3 months and it s over 4 months for us If they can t do it or don t want to just say so Why charge us every month knowing as such A guy named Oliver got ahold of me telling me he was quality control and assured me of their assurance and ideals Blah blah blah I talked with him Tuesday 11 19 and he set up a phone deal for him Jason Cole and I the next day Wednesday 11 20 at 1-2 PM mountain time which never happened I sat and waited for this I mean who is paying who I want to talk with the owner If they don t want to work with us just say so I would appreciate a refund for work I don t feel has been done also It s only right because my partner and I haven t seen anything as far as progress even though we asked for such If they did as such or were proactive in the same I wouldn t have to be ugly like this To me you should answer a phone call message or email considering these people sign your pay checks and they admit the more they sell your business for the more they make I m just glad I found out who their competitors are and will be talking with them if OpenFair doesn t get their act together What I don t get is the nerve of them asking for a positive review when they didn t do anything positive in the first place I mean they want me to say how great they were before the fact they actually sold the business and how much for If my partner and I were happy with the outcome To me that s presumptuous and it pads their reviews not to mention their reviews just might be padded with the owners friends and family which makes this site inefficient and also liable to fraud and legal statutes

So I wrote a review initially and the quality control person Oliver answered Gave me the deal after I laid it out Told me he was always there Reminded me when of all the b-s I used to tell girls in the day and when I did some sales later on The thing is I came through I prided myself on my word and my ability to OpenFair is anything but I m just glad I found some of their competitors here and reached out to them to sell my brother and my business because OpenFair is anyway but I m positive their positive reviews were done by friends or employees because of our experience Their mouths write checks their ass can t cash and I wouldn t trust them with any more of our money

PLEASE BE CAREFUL

Extremely disappointing experience with this company They advertise having 75 000 qualified buyers and over a decade of experience but these claims are completely false A quick check on LinkedIn or social media reveals they are a startup less than a year old They failed to deliver on their promises overcharged me and ignored my refund requests for months This operation is misleading and untrustworthy I strongly advise other business owners to steer clear

They strung us along with first one

They strung us along with first one then a second then a third then a fourth person before they finally gave us a valuation By the time they did it was two days past the date by which you must notify them of your intention to not renew I told them persons 3 and 4 when I finally got to talk to someone who knows how to value a company that I did not want to renew and they assured me that I would not be charged for another month But no here comes person 2 telling me they charged me anyway 800 for nothing
