Terrible response time just to get to
Terrible response time just to get to an appointment scheduler I spend 4hrs and 20 min on hold between 3 day deferent attempts trying to get an appt for my 86 year old mother who has a health condition Then once i finally got to a scheduler the only available appt was 4 months out

Shockingly dysfunctional
THE WORST voice system I ve ever been stuck with Clearly Optum Rx has no desire to talk with customers with problems with their orders MAJOR problems getting to customer service The robot told me nothing and tried to hang up on me as it didn t care about my answers and decided everything was just fine Another robot asked me if I wanted to review my experience then wouldn t connect me Completely frustrating and infuriating It was so irritating trying to get this first Rx going that I ve decided Optum Rx was actually telling me through this experience to run away I am I ll try Amazon pharmacy instead After all why keep banging your head into the wall this month and probably every month At the very least Amazon knows what customer service is and that s a definite step up

I have never dealt with this level of incompetency in my entire life Do not get your prescriptions filled here They have no idea what they are doing and they will confidently give you conflicting information

Optum is THE WORST
I agree with everything everybody else wrote I m on my 2nd day of an hours long calls Their software is broken The representatives are totally ignorant and can t help If they didn t have the best price on my medication I d have nothing to do with them If you can avoid using their services don t use them If you do be ready for hours and hours on the phone And my issue STILL isn t solved

They quit filling my Repatha I was told my doctor did not complete the required paperwork My doctor has always filled out the paperwork before They are very capable and understand the procedure Optum Rx is used by United Healthcare insurance UnitedHealth also uses Well Med Another way to increase your co pay

OptumRx is absolutely TERRIBLE
OptumRx is absolutely TERRIBLE The pharmacy s this company partners with CVS and Fransiscan outpatient will not fill prescriptions in a timely manner and do not follow the doctors orders on the prescriptions This company has caused numerous difficulties through the past 2 decades that I have dealt with them Mail order prescriptions have been found on the side of the road beneath the mailbox medications have been miscounted and some prescriptions missing entirely I have called dozens of times for help in these matters to no avail Often I just go to the phamacy I choose to go to and pay out of pocket One time about 5 years ago I was able to get an override to go to see the pharmacist I prefer I recently requested to do this again and was told that it is not possible to go anywhere other than the pharmacies that don t follow doctors orders or cannot it s actually will not take care of refills in a timely manner This Company should be investigated for their unethical practices false representation of benefits and blatant fraud

OptumRX is horrible
OptumRX is horrible I had a prescription med that was mandated as zero copay but their software still required Prior Authorization paperwork They claimed the pharmacy is supposed to contact the MD but the pharmacy was clear there were no messages sent when the claim was processed I ve worked for PBMs so I know how to do their jobs The customer service agent was untrained and gave misinformation When I finally got a hold of the call center manger she made a series of false statements and never followed up I had to go to my employer to correct the problem Terrible customer service and faulty claims software make this company a train wreck Our benefits team at the office cancelled their service after so many complaints Benefits administrators please avoid them at all cost They are worse than MedImpact

Terrible company
Terrible company I ve called 6 times regarding not seeing my prescriptions online until they are already sent often too early or not needed to be refilled and I m unable to return them once shipped Customer service who constantly puts me on hold for extended periods suggests that I check back in a couple weeks and it will be resolved which of course it s not Since i can t contol my med shipping dates I m pulling all of my medications from this company and going back to a local pharmacy It s an inconvenience but easier than trying to deal with this lame company

Not what I signed up for The service has deteriorated I had to call about billing issues ordering refiles And the latest is sending you to sites offering free gifts Not just one but multiple sites All I wanted was a refill on prescriptions Really disappointed

It is just not worth it Worst mail order Rx ever
The prices may be cheaper for prescriptions but the company is terrible Getting through to a human is very difficult and when you do get through it s clear that these are people overseas The CS reps are kind but it is very very difficult to understand their thick accents I have had so many issues getting prescriptions filled -- including their automations trying to refill prescriptions that are old outdated and that I stopped taking over a year ago I hate this company I ve used mail order Rx before and it was easy and excellent customer service OptumRx is none of that I m going back to local pharmacies
