I just enrolled to Penn foster in the

I just enrolled to Penn foster in the sterile processing technician course Btw I m already use to learning by myself as I already have an Associates in criminal justice from my local community college but decided to completely switch my major So far everything is as expected for me I m just alittle displeased as I have not received my textbook yet but it has only been a week since I enrolled and my first payment isn t due until the 14th which I am thinking that s when they will send it The thing I dislike is when I have a question and I post in the discussion board I get no response I also can t set up a 15min 1 on 1 with my teacher which they give you an option for Not sure what s going on there Everything is as stated online with penn foster It s go at your own pace My advice would be too start early looking for externships if you have to do hands on hours As I stated I just started my course and I m already getting places lined up I would say if your thinking about enrolling you should They have a 7 day money back if your not pleased with the program I was also feeling iffy about the program but just decided to take a leap of faith

Pros and Cons

There are some pros and cons to this The pros are this the monthly payment options are great getting to the curriculum is a breeze and they do offer a lot of resources if you can figure all that out I love that you can do it at the pace you need and change your finish date if you get behind A few cons with medical coding and billing there were too many wrong answers in the books We re supposed to be learning and I feel that s a big no no With the Administrative Assistant program I m in now it s pretty good but I feel it s really lacking a lot I m going to need to get a job in this field Some of the paragraph assignments are a bit over the top I m going for AA not management and that s what my last paper was on Felt that was a bit unfair I m hoping when I get to the Office Software that it will then be worth the money Other than that I would still recommend this school Just do a little more research on the programs if you can

I LOVE Penn foster dental assistant

I LOVE Penn foster dental assistant program It was so affordable and I could pace myself as I needed It took me as little as 5 months to get my dental assistant diploma During my coursework I decided to shadow at a dental office where if I hadn t been in the program since there s no hands on experience they would ve denied me Once you re done with the program all you have to do to get licensed is go through LARS with 2 letters of recommendation from dental professionals However the program doesn t come with your x-ray certificate which would help so much more Once you get done however you have to make sure you keep working towards your goals everyday like continuing education to get nitrous oxide cap and sealant and coronal polishing And things take time so some people I see regret taking the program but I think it was a great experience for me personally and now I can make 18-22 hr versus 12 which is what I was making as a CNA so there s definitely many ways you can view penn fosters programs You can say its a waste of money and time but if you re a determined individual you will come out being grateful you took this program

Lots of useful knowledge in the lessons Some of the drawings and most of the photographs weren t very clear as if they had been copied from other copies too many times and had lost some of their detail I couldn t find any way to provide feedback during the course to advise about this problem

I m currently in the private investigations program with penn foster

I m currently in the private investigations program with penn foster and it s been great overall However I ve found a few grammar issues here and there and one whole section was on the details of the inner parts and workings of older cameras which in my opinion has nothing to do with private investigations Good school overall If your interested in enrolling I highly recommend it
