Easters have just completed a garage conversion and extension to a very high standard The project was implemented under very difficult circumstances The first barrier was that the Covid lockdown started immediately before the day on which the men were due to start Apart from the problems of social distancing the shortage of critical building materials quickly became apparent The second issue was that we live in a conservation area and one of the conditions of the award of planning consent was that we would not be able to see the join on completion Now that the work is complete even the most critical of the locals have remarked that they cannot see where the original structure ended In fact memories of what the house originally looked like have greatly dimmed The team worked to a very high standard of workmanship housekeeping and customer relations They dealt with unexpected problems in a cool and professional manner One such was when an unknown and damaged land drain was uncovered and the excavation for the footings completely flooded just as the building inspector made an unannounced visit He left with a smile on his face We selected Easters following a recommendation from former customer We will have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else
