I really liked the mentor they helped me get through my project a lot It is costly but probably worth it

1st Project Experience for young kid

Our mentor did a great job of guiding my child through the project procedure and breaking down complex concepts The mentor encouraged my child to think critically which was helpful in boosting their confidence and skills However I felt that the overall experience could have been slightly improved by increasing the current limited involvement of parents especially for younger kids While promoting independence is important I believe that some level of parental engagement is necessary to reinforce learning and provide additional support

I enjoyed my experience with Polygence I connected with a knowledgeable mentor about a topic I m passionate about Through this I pushed myself to construct a project that once overwhelmed me I appreciated the welcoming environment the Polygence team provided and the support given through the Symposium One highlight I especially appreciated was the provided webinars for college readiness and ACT prep

Platform mentor and showcasing

The organization of the Polygence s platforms was extremely helpful In the Workspace you can plan your next session chat with your mentor share files submit assignments and have a research journal to record what you have done during and before a session The mentor is a guider who helps you with directions writing style and gives assignments that keep you on track I had more trouble with finding a journal to publish my work in since the standard program doesn t help a lot for that

My son had a good experience with this project It really improved his writing capabilities and we feel that he gathered writing skills based on the constant feedback he was receiving from the mentor
