Avoid them at all costs
Drew and Daniel Hemmingway bought the small accounting practice that was managing my company accounts They continued to charge me monthly but ceased to deliver I got a VAT penalty as they didn t file for me I did my own tax return to avoid a penalty despite them charging me They messed up my Xero account and it took days for us to put it right I have many more examples I don t believe that Drew and Daniel who run the company area actually accountants Their website power-team dot co dot uk make claims like 20 years experience but they were incorporated 2023 Trustpilot reviews 4 8 but there s only mine so far and If there was a 0 starts they would get that Avoid them at all costs is my only recommendation

Although I am not nor have ever been a client of Drew or Dan Hemmingway s Accountancy business I have had a number of financial dealings with them And I will leave you to draw your own conclusions My advice steer clear

Extremely unhappy with Power Team
Extremely unhappy with Power Team Accountants They attempted to charge me an admin fee for performing a regulatory risk assessment this year even though this is not a new requirement for accounting companies as the regulation has been out there for years As a result I decided to transfer my activities to another book-keeping provider and they have been most unhelpful and un-co-operative to the point that what was supposed to be a good-natured transfer is now going sour As soon as I issued notice their communication became spotty and most unprofessional and has now become completely silent despite charging me a fee for said transfer We are now a month post-notification and still no transfer has occurred despite the various attempts of myself and my new book-keeping provider to get them to engage It is a real shame I came on-board when it was just Balanced and they were such a good and responsive book-keeping vendor Unfortunately with the various acquisitions and re-branding over the last few years their service seems to have gone downhill No one is contactable only the phone number for their Wallingford office works and no one answers that either I would agree with what other other people on here are saying Unfortunately I would not recommend Power Team Accountants to anyone else looking for an accounting or book-keeping provider
