Had a great overall experience

Had a great overall experience I was not of the competence based classes as I had trouble with the grader and the instructor had to recheck the grades I had marked wrong even though they were correct

Rasmussen College

Rasmussen College was a great at helping me finish my degree I had started over 20 years prior The advisor was easily accessible and always got back to me in a timely manner The teachers were amazing The best was that they were actually still working in my field They had realy experiences I could relate to and the projects actually helped with the work I was doing outside of the classroom I work fulltime during the day and had a family to tend to in the evenings It was impossible for me to ever meet with a LIVE classroom but that did not hinder my class choices at all The teachers always posted the links to the recordings and I was able to watch them whenever I had time This made going back to school something I could actually manage with a career and family I have already told so many people to look into Rasmussen College because of the experinence I had and I will keep spreading the word It was so worth it for me

The school is great and the teachers

The school is great and the teachers are so helpful Only complaint would be the last minute scheduling Letting students know the first day of a semester their schedule is ridiculous especially if you have a job or kids

I loved it

I honestly loved my experience with Rasmussen college The courses were fast paced but it gives you the opportunity to finish faster without losing out on the main objective or subject area you are studying I like that I can log in at any time to check my grades read material and stay up to date with what was happening in the classes I was taking The only issue I had was switching back and forth between two different online blackboards but once they switched it back to the original one it was smooth sailing I completed my bachelors degree in Early childhood education and I have learned so much from my professors here My student advisor was also very helpful in making sure my classes were not too overwhelming for me and made sure I finished on time and stayed on track with my grades

I appreciated the program s fast pace

I appreciated the program s fast pace and that the majority of the instructors were understanding helpful and responsive Sometimes it seemed like I was writing papers about subjects I have already written about in the past so that felt a little stale There is a lot of paper writing but I don t know what else a school can do for online students like myself Overall I felt a sense of accomplishment each week I completed and all of the software resources like Grammarly NoodleTools Microsoft Visio etc were extremely helpful

Rasmusen College

The college experience is not the most unprofessional and unorganized school I ve come by The time I was enrolled there I experienced nothing but help and so knowledgeable program manager It wasn t all confusion they always knew what was going on and especially when it came to classroom connect We were sitting in Parks Oaks Boulevard classroom for hours of our class days at the School Best use of time and money

The college is good

The college is good Not sure about on campus life but being an online learning student - they just forget you exist I only hear from my advisor if I reach out to her I have been 4 0 GPA for a straight year and have not had one person reach out and say congratulations or anything Other colleges I have attended would send honor certificates and ceremonies at least quarterly

Hello

Hello I really enjoy my time with Rasmussen college All my teachers but one has gone over and beyond to ensure my success Only thing I don t like so far my advisor was switched without a notice or explanation I now receive my honor roll certificate way later than normal My expected graduation date has change to I was told that it was wrong from the beginning I would recommend this school to anyone who needs a fast past college experience having the classes 5 5 weeks long Keeps me interested vs The traditional 11 weeks class Princess Vicent

Happy with my decision to attend Rasmussen

I have been attending Rasmussen for a year now and am so happy with my decision If I could go back I would still choose this school I read reviews similar to the current negative ones when I first started They were definitely nerve racking but I moved forward anyways because I liked the accelerated approach and wanted to get started with my career being that I felt I was late to get started with my education Im in the nursing program and have respected every instructor as a nurse They all have lots of experience and helpful anecdotes There has been one instructor so far that I felt was more difficult than she should be and made it hard for people to succeed That was hard to get through but with the quarters only being 11 weeks having a class you don t love isn t too bad I made it through and have had good or even amazing experiences with the other instructors Despite other reviews I feel that this is a great program for working adults if you have a job that will respect your class schedule Most of my friends in the program are very busy and are thriving I also feel that the faculty is willing to work with you when you need help as long as you actually need help and aren t just being lazy I had surgery during the first week of one of my quarters are ROYALLY screwed up my schedule For some reason I just couldn t get myself together and get my schedule straight and missed even four weeks of a couple classes I was so surprised to find that the dean my advisor and both instructors worked with me to catch me up and went above and beyond in a situation that was purely due to my short comings and a small surgery I also see lots of students go here who don t speak English as a first language and I m sure struggle with it and have seen some instructors really help them through that although I am aware I can t speak to that struggle just wanted to mention another way I have seen the staff be helpful Sure there are situations that feel unfair but I understand that the staff needs to adhere to policies I can think of a couple situations in which some friends were dealt a very unfair hand and struggled through it Overall this is a school in which you take your education into your own hands and advocate for yourself You can gain lots of knowledge from these instructors if you choose to You can also choose to advocate for yourself when you need help I get where the negative reviews are coming from I just feel that they aren t giving the full picture and that my overall experience is positive I would encourage anyone considering this school to go for it
