Returning to Rasmussen University has been the biggest regret I made First Semester started off wonderful My professor was very attentive to the class quick to respond to emails thorough in lectures and explaining assignment in great detail and genuinely cared about his students This was not the case Second Semester - you re not notified of classes until Monday of the same quarter - therefore you start off slightly behind Everything is self-taught YOUTUBE AND GOOGLE HAVE BECOME MY BESTEST FRIENDS Grades are not inputted into the system in a timely manner either causing your formal grade to decline or assignments homework marked as late Sometimes certain assignments will go without grading after teachers expressed to potentially grading those same assignments I still have assignments from Week 2 to Week 4 that have yet to be graded in Finance Accounting It is frustrating Especially when they are unfamiliar with operating Microsoft Teams for class meetings and lectures Lisa Callihan is one of the worst teachers by far - she ll do these quick lectures and post her information for students to contact her with questions but once you do Ms Callihan will claim that you are harassing her She teaches Communicating In Your Profession I cannot wait to pass these classes and transfer elsewhere Everything I ve learned up to this point I learned on my own accord

It was so disappointing how some of the instructors treated us people of color during the last quarter I will never refer anybody to come to that school again I have learnt my lessons During the orientation you need to tell people of color the truth that they are the only students who cannot transfer to another Rasmussen campus During the clinicals we were not allowed to take a break instead we had to eat on the resident s floor unit which is unhealthy We were not allowed even to sit in a break room she said is a working break From 5 530am to 330 4pm If a student of color forgets to wear a name tag he she was asked to go home while a student of the same color of the instructor if he she forgets the name tag the instructor will just smile and say don t forget tomorrow The instructor told us that she cannot answer the questions we ask in class we just have to read the book my question is why were we going in class if the instructor couldn t answer our questions Rasmussen Blaine campus is not a good school for students of color

Did not like the college the classes they gave me for the first semester was to hard when i was just starting out tgey basically put me in 2 writing classes at the same time

Its expensive Communication is little and far between Paid for classes I didnt have time for and failed because no one was listening I had asked before even signing up if they would work with me and my schedule Nope Nope nope run

THIS SCHOOL IS SO UNORGANIZED IT IS RIDICULOUS DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A QUALITY EDUCATION YOU WILL HAVE TO TEACH YOURSELF EVERY SINGLE THING NO HELP THE DEAN DOESNT HELP THEY DONT WANT YOU TO SUCCEED

I just completed this first semester at Rasmussen and I am contemplating changing colleges while now before I waste all my time money and energy I completed pathophysiology all my assignments were at 100 however my exam scores were below the 78 threshold Therefore I failed the entire class I missed this by 4 questions First this class is taught soley online the instructor taught from power points that had minimally covered the context on the exams I attended each and every class did my reading and felt fairly confident I would do well had I not I would have dropped like the rest did That s the other point about 1 2 the class dropped right away the ones that stayed lots failed They won t show or tell you what you got wrong You are left with the option of moving forward retaking the class and hope to hell to don t fail another cause then you are kicked out of the program and all your time and money gone you simply can t transfer these credits I feel that if your going to commit to Rasmussen they should give you options to complete the program fully I am just questioning this school - to me it seems that are just taken your money Personally I am not sure I want to travel down that road

The advisors are not helpful and hey never answer the phone so you have to wait I until they callYou back When things are needed they don t give you clear information and then blame you Teachers are not willing to help you are really on your own They expect your to know something and they never taught you or care to teach you they say look it up which is not teaching Waste of money better hope the credits are worth it

-10 10 This is the most snakey and unorganized school They treat you like you are chopped liver They expect you to be professional and understanding and they are the least bit of that They do not care about any of your issues and if you try to get a hold of them- you wont They are never in office and never respond to emails You as a student are the least of their priorities I have two weeks until graduation and they have made my dream of being a nurse a nightmare

Why give a study guide when you know you don t have control over the exam It is terrible that instructor will give you a study guide and none of the stuff came out Why not let the students study wide Nothing in the study guide came out What is the point of assignment if they really don t count towards passing That time we spent on assignment can be pull towards studying for exam If assignment don t help you pass

DO NOT got to this school I NEVER do reviews but this program is a disgrace I am currently in their BSN program and it is an absolute mess The first quarter was good and the teachers were great but this quarter is HORRID Most of the professors are horrible and don t know anything about what they are teaching Specifically Nancy Drallmeier She should not be allowed to teach in any capacity and offers no resources for studying Clinicals are almost worse than the teachers We showed up to a clinical site and our professor never showed up Turns out we aren t having actual clinicals because the school is so poor at getting their schduling straight so they slapped something together on campus that had no relation to our actual class Students that graduate next month told us to leave while you still can The administration and teachers love to use Covid as an excuse for the s t show that this program is Save your money and go somewhere where you will actually learn something
