Total scam and Rip off They say they have a job placement program but this is a lie Then their CEO Thomas Kirby Lee called and offered me a partial refund because I wrote a bad review but then he never contacted me again after I tried to reach out to him Stay away Their program consists of sending you YouTube videos and setting you up to be a free intern for a few months

Awful experience with mentor and then abandoned by the school entirely

I was a student at Recording Connection in the Ableton production program My mentor did not work with me side by side like the school had intended and completely shorted me on time and effort I was supposed to get 160 hours working with a mentor in the studio but I only got 70 hours of his time To make matters worse it was at his home studio which was just an ordinary room in his house and there were distractions as well I only went to an actual working studio 3 or so times and I feel completely ripped off I told my academic facilitator several times and we had conversations that lead to nowhere The idea of a mentor transfer was brought up but he never followed up with me I even gave contact information and got him in touch with my mentor but nothing came out of that To top it all off in the system someone inflated my hours or something to 156 I absolutely did not get that many hours and certainly not in an actual studio My academic facilitator and the director of admissions tell me there is nothing to be done for me and it s frustrating I just want to have the education that the school agreed to I m in 18 000 of debt now and I have nothing to show for it The most ridiculous thing is that they never sent me my certificate or got me in contact with my career advisor I even sent a very reasonable email to my facilitator and the director to appeal for my education and after that they completely ghosted me and left me all alone

I think this was a great experience I got the chance to work with a great mentor It was a lot of things I got to learn from him

Getting to work hands on

Getting to work hands on with a director was absolutely amazing Lee Cummings has been a wonderful mentor he care a lot about the work he does and the work he helps you put out there

A great start

The program offered everything I needed to get started in my career and advisors were a MAJOR help It was also incredibly helpful to be assigned a mentor that could help me out with the physical filming side of this job

Reading reviews and facts about them from their website I knew I was going to have a good time But it turned out better than I expected My mentor - Richard Brandes is the best mentor anyone could ask for He was always there any time or day to help me with anything Also my academic advisor was a helpful individual whenever I had questions about anything
