Warning this is not free at all

Warning this is not free at all I didn t mind paying the 2 95 to download my resume but a week later I was charged an additional 24 95 and was not aware it would be recurring Deceptive with payment awareness

Good service but terrible customer service

I found that they are a little bit dodgy I paid for a week subscription for a cheaper price but then on the following week I was charged the full price around 30 As soon I was charged I asked to cancel my subscription and get the refund and they said they couldn t do it because the terms says I only had one week to ask for refund They told me they could pause my subscription and continue later but I didn t want that so I requested a refund through Paypal and finally got my money back Their service is good I could make some good looking CVs but this fact above really pushed me off I ll never buy from them again

There are better sites for CVs

So they must have paid a lot for Google promo to be top of the list when you search free CV builder but after 2-3 hours of crafting your CV It s only free to build and you pay a small amount for a 7-day trial to download the actual CV in PDF after which will auto renew for 25 a month Steep price pretty dodgy practices and not a lot of customization for your Skills section in the CV templates

Not ATS friendly

The site is good to use but the formats they have are not ATS scannable When i asked them about it they said they are working on it so I asked them to cancel my subscription for which they said it is cancelled but guess what I got charged for three months straight after that Also when my subscription renews I expect to see an invoice which they did not send me

Watch out Created a resume from their design template The product itself is user-friendly and decent At the end you are charged a very nominal fee That s fair What is quite deceiving - 7 days later got slammed with a 25 month fee Cancelled immediately Update to resume io reply Where I appreciate resume io s reply back they noted it is clearly stated Sorry That is not so There was only mention of a 2 95 charge only once the resume is completed I suppose it is probable somewhere in the fine print or a couple levels into the payment it states the user will be charged 25 month Why not be upfront about it prior to one beginning on their resume The fact that it is not is a deceptive practice Enjoy your 28 Customer lost

ATS parsing isn t reliable

I reached out to the their customer service after I received feedback that my name and location wasn t parsed correctly by ATS from their template which honestly makes me question the value Their customer service responded For now we don t have templates that are perfectly parsed by ATS but the first one is in progress and will be released shortly Great customer service but bad product I will migrate my resume to another service

When we put to change the language just a part of the CV changed the language you should give us the option to change everything in the CV but the rest of the things was great

stealing you money

I ve been using the website for several years without issues until last month when I purchased 1 day subscription Several days later I was charged extra 30 without prior notice or anything They sold me premium subscription without even asking me if I need one Writing to support didn t help So now I m going to my bank to report it as fraud transaction and getting a new card Many thanks no resume io I ll never use your skam services again

Not parsing correctly at all

I thought it was working well but then I saw it was being parsed really weirdly on a few occasions jumbled words meaningless letters even numbers etc So now I m afraid I sent a meaningless CV for applications over the last few months

Advertised as free but you have to pay

Advertised as free but you have to pay if you want to download which ties you into a 17 a month subscription Very expensive for what it provides I found a nice CV template but it is very inflexible can t change spacing add a photo on some Only allows downloads in PDF If it was 2 a month it would be worth it but seeing 17 come out of my account for being able to access my CV is devastating
