Description on website not accurate

I bought 2 bracelets for my sons and from what i could see on the publicity there was a touching inscription on the bracelets but when I received them the inscription was on a small piece of paper and not on the bracelets In my book that is false publicity

Good quality glasses however

Glasses arrived earlier than expected which was good However these clearly look like a used pair as the hinges were loose and there were small indents where the arms had rubbed up against frame when folded I accepted this as the price was reduced but would rather they had sold them as a used pair with small defects

The company is a big company for them not to be able to pay for return items postage you have to pay for return i think its wrong there is no way to track your return there should be a review on that

Good service overall especially as they contacted me to advise the lenses I d chosen wouldn t work with the frames However it was disappointing that the description on the website wasn t accurate so I ended up with something different to what I was expecting Needed them for a holiday so no time to send back for replacement as they take 2 weeks to be made and sent

Fast service

The quality of the glasses were great However the delivery was not good They said 2 weeks however with many delays it took 1 month instead Would like better delivery

Not so good quality control needed

I ordered a Versace glasses but it was a bit big I decided to return them there was no instruction how to do so on the website you have to call shade station there was a return slip inside the box that does not explain nothing if you need a refund or exchange there should be a review on the return policy shade station should pay for the return i hope you will take this in good faith

Check it and before sell

Ordered Ray Bans on 28th Nov dispatched on 29th according to Shadestation So far so good However by 5th Dec Royal Mail had not yet received it according to their 48hr Service tracker info No joy on the phone to Shadestation - office was closed all day answer service switched off No online chat or reply to messages either Not a good sign I ll keep this updated as they have previously been excellent and they deserve a measured review especially as Royal Mail are a weak link in the delivery chain just now UPDATE Just read that the company has gone into administration as of 30th Nov Warehouse is expected to be back up and running by Tuesday 6th Dec so let s see whether the sunglasses arrive - fingers crossed For now I would advise all prospective buyers to wait for more news before parting with any funds Ultimately thoughts have to be with the Shadestation workers of course so close to Christmas Really hope it all gets back on the rails for them soon UPDATE 9 days since I ordered the sunglasses and Royal Mail website still saying they haven t received anything from Shadestation yet I have been contacted by Shadestation who are blaming Royal Mail for the delay Strikes due tomorrow so my hopes for any resolution soon are not high UPDATE Looks like my 80 is lost as the administrators are not honouring any failed transactions made before 30th Nov UPDATE 13 DEC 22 Wow my order has just arrived Took two weeks and in truth I don t know whether it was the insolvency Royal Mail or both to blame Either way I am not out of pocket and I have a brand new set of lovely Ray Bans Not the greatest online experience but all good in the end Keeping fingers crossed for the company s survival this Christmas especially as I keep trashing my sunglasses and they have previously been the best and cheapest way to replace them Good luck guys

Took long to deliver

This is my second time bought it Bvlgari sunglasses unhappy for the reason it s right side of hinge screw a bit loose please check before selling because I bought it online and dislike returning back and I hope my next time you can do it better many thanks
