They won t give you a refund even if you don t receive the goods

Update It has been over a month since I reported to shade station that I didn t receive the sunglasses I purchased I still haven t received a refund In fact there has been no talks in any of their tedious emails that they have sent me whether or not I will be receiving a refund that I am well within my rights entitled to They are using the post office investigating time as a way to delay my refund They are well aware of what the post office will respond as I sent them proof of their customer service advising me that they will only be told what I have been told I m not sure why they are delaying my refund Once again they ll probably respond to this review but ignore my email But I will be taking this further because I know my rights as a consumer

Shady station

They no longer let you use PayPal on purchase and only allow payment by credit card My style bank points can no longer be used either Both were possible before they went into administration on my previous orders Buy with caution

More than a bit disappointed

Ordered sunglasses paid for next day delivery Royal Mail said they delivered package proof of delivery is conspicuous After reading other reviews I don t feel like these will be positively resolved an investigation shouldn t take 35 working days in the mean time in over 100 down and by the time it is concluded I will have been on my holiday and come back I won t be using again as right now I m over 100 down and have no sunglasses great birthday present to myself

The amount of money wasted was shady

This is a heads up more than anything else so other customers don t potentially lose money unnecessarily So I placed an order and the glasses came and they didn t fit I called and spoke to Natalie who admittedly was lovely and she tried to helped me find my glasses size However during the call she informed me that I could place an order for only the frames to avoid losing another 15 To which I replied sorry I didn t know and to which she replied you wouldn t have and also that with the size which was only half an inch off on the arm they still may not fit as different brands and different styles are all different regardless of size So basically size is a guideline only and I could get exact size and the glasses may still not fit At the time I was going to reconnect with Natalie and get an exchange But on reflection I found this to be quite shady pun intended because obviously had I known this was an option then obviously I would have only ordered the frames to begin with Also if different brands and styles fit different irrespective of size then there is still a possibility of incurring further postage and return charges Something to be aware of Having already paid 10 for delivery which is somewhat inflated as it cost me 3 99 to send them back via the same courier Royal Mail So 30 out of pocket and absolutely nothing to show for it Also someone on here had the same problem and got a full refund which when I enquired about this with Charlotte why that was not a possibility for me when I had the same issue I was told she couldn t comment I got burned I guess so others can learn - if in doubt leave the prescription out And go for the cheapest postage option as possible Update It wasn t resolved

No Logo Prescription Ray Ban

I ordered some prescription Ray Ban Sunglasses and they arrived plain lenses with no logo Nowhere on shade station does it state they don t come with the ray ban logo Now I m stuck as they are non refundable Disappointed from a website I use frequently

Bad experience

I ordered a pair of Tom Ford glasses which were labelled on their site as SMALL I received them and they were definitely not SMALL Frame width was well over 140mm Sent back today for refund and wasted 35 on lenses Yesterday i stupidly ordered another pair thinking it was a 1 off This time I ordered some Ralph Lauren and when asked about frame width was told 50 129mm 52 133 So I ordered the 50 129mm and paid another 35 for lenses They arrived today and not only have they sent me the 52 instead of the 50 The measurements they gave me are completely off frame width is again over 140mm I m so angry and disappointed Don t know what I m gonna do Wouldn t recommend Go some where else

Not happy The sun glasses are too small not true

The sun glasses are too small not true to the size because I fitted virtually it was just right for me seems like it is for kids

Refund given with 5 days delay from the accounts team

So I purchased an pair of glasses but Shade Station recommended a thinner glass which would ve cost more I decided to cancel the order for a refund The refund was made with a purge date 5 working days in advance What is means that even the refund was successful I had to wait 5 working days for the money to be available in my bank account There is absolutely no need for such ill practice specially during Christmas period

Agreed a price match then sent an email an hour after payment saying they needed more money and no way of canceling the order I can assure you they will be returned asap Poor form Should have check the site that was cheaper before offering the deal even if it took an hour or so without agreeing immediately Won t use again or recommend

Says delivered but not to us

We ordered a designer pair of sunglasses for a present that were due to arrive today Royal mail shows that the sunglasses are delivered with a picture but the picture is not of our house and they didn t knock on the door at any time Royal mail is only saying delivered and there is no indication as to where they arem
