Poor quality frames

Poor quality frames I purchased some Tiffany glasses frames which when they arrived had very wonky arms I contacted shade station about this and was told to go to an optician to have them heated and bent into place I followed this advise but was told by the opticians the frames could break due to how much it required bending I decided to return the frames which cost me over 7 postage to return Shade station did not reimburse me for the postage even though the frames were of poor quality and unwearable I would not purchase from shade station again after my experience They do not deliver good quality frames

I was very disappointed with the quality of the Rayban Jackie Ohh sunglasses described as grey havana which should have a grey tortoishell frame The frame was a very dull flat shade with little pattern at all Returned for a refund

Took a while on delivery longer then stated with very little communication until I had to contact shade station to be told it would be a further 10 days

Really strange business practice - take your money then ask for more

Really strange business practice I used their instant price match tool which then credited me a 10 voucher I paid my money they took my money but when chasing their customer service team to confirm my goods had been dispatched I paid extra for next day delivery they said I need to pay an extra 10 before they will dispatch them I ve since requested a full refund and cancellation of the order

Shade station not paying attention to detail

I ve ordered several pairs of expensive sunglasses from Shade station in the past all without issues On this occasion I ordered a pair of 90 Ray Ban Aviators I opened the package and immediately saw a clear thumbprint on one lens and 2 small marks on the other lens So evidently these were sunglasses which had been returned by some peasant who bought them and didn t like them or the fit was unsuitable Upon being returned to Shade Station they failed to pay attention to detail as any sharp dynamic professional business should so the glasses were unchecked then resold to another customer me who had the experience I ve just described If you or any company want a 5 star review from me personally then the complete experience of buying from you must be perfect I won t accept anything less

2 stars Was told to order within 6 mins for next day delivery Nothing arrived The weekend came and still no glasses Monday still nothing Arrived Tuesday afternoon once I d already left on holiday Haha Thought for the day Accountability The importance of doing what you say you re going to do Great f ing Persols though

Still haven t received my item and it was supposed to come on Tuesday still no word on anything

poor packaging

Delivery was quick Item wasn t packaged properly my watch wasn t even in its case when it arrived Thankfully there was another box around it The watch didn t have any protective packaging on it to avoid scratches etc considering the price of the item I would have thought extra care would be taken when sending it off into the post The item didn t have that brand new feel to it at all

Have placed an order worth 250 on the

Have placed an order worth 250 on the 30 11 22 day the company went bust I have still received a tracking number via Royal Mail and it says that the items are in transit I have also been told this morning directly from shade station customer service emailI I should expect them within the next 7-10 working days Haven t received an email like other customers informing me they have gone bust Don t really have a clue what s going on avoid company for the time being

Sadly the glasses did not fit

Sadly the glasses did not fit Although they said there was no fault The arm appeared to have too much flexion and glasses just fell straight down my nose by about an inch Impossible to wear I had tired on the same frame and same size in my local opticians which fitted ok So I don t know On a positive note I returned them and a full refund was agreed without issue Overall I won t buy glasses again online because the savings I had hoped to make have just cost me about 12 which I wasted in postage General experience for me was a waste of time and money and I still don t have pair of glasses which fit my new prescription two weeks on
