SOMEWHERE Dishonest Overpriced Aggressive

On my intro call the Somewhere sales rep told me it would be 500 total to get a VA He explained that if they couldn t find a good VA they would refund the deposit However if they got one they would keep the deposit 500 is a steep finders fee but it seemed fair enough They sent over an LOI to get rolling which I auto-signed and they got me a good VA within 3 days and I was happy 500 bucks 15 minutes of work on their end fair trade Then they sent me an invoice for an additional 4500 because what I thought was a LOI was actually a 5-page work agreement that said I would pay a of the VAs annual salary They never communicated that to me until the invoice was sent to me I would ve never used them if I had known it would be this expensive 5000 They deceived me and now they re chasing me with a collections company What went from a remarkable experience became a very ugly and unfortunate situation due to lack of communication lack of transparency on pricing and then sending a client to collections without trying to negotiate Overall it s a bad company with a dishonest process There are many other VA companies to go to such as bloom-workforce com

Possibly the worst service provider I have ever used in my professional life To make it even worse they actually used to be great All of a sudden everything got so bad with them Their way of operating their quality of communication and of course the candidates they offered In the past I referred many businesses to these guys and I ve hired 5 people from them but now I am shocked by how awful their service level is and I will never ever recommend or use their service again because they are so unprofessional

Candidates presented did not meet expectations

We went to this company for assistance in hiring a customer support representative Our process involved providing them with an assessment for candidates to complete Initially we were impressed by the candidate s assessment performance leading us to hire them It s important to mention that before proceeding we asked if it would be possible to trial the candidate first Given that our company operates in a very niche industry we require someone who can learn quickly - something that cannot be fully evaluated through the initial assessment alone A hands-on trial would have allowed us to determine whether the candidate was truly suited for the role Unfortunately they didn t allow us to do this The candidate left after just three days as they did not meet expectations Given the brevity of their employment we requested a refund which was declined Instead they suggested providing us with another candidate By this point we had already filled the original position through referrals but decided to proceed with their suggestion for a different role we needed to fill The second experience was worse They consistently sent us candidates who failed our assessments turning the hiring process into a lengthy and frustrating ordeal Despite investing significant time and effort in reviewing assessments and explaining what we re looking for none of the candidates met our requirements We then requested another refund as the process had become unproductive and we felt it was no longer worth pursuing Once again our request was denied Overall we found their service to be inflexible and unaccommodating leaving us with no tangible results and a poor experience

Somewhere produced 2 qualified candidates for an open position at my company less than 24 hours after we started our search We ve since hired one of them and have had a great experience so far The hiring process was quick and easy Would def recommend to anyone looking for quality overseas remote employees
