Plants in bad condition
I have bought plants two times from this shop When i bought the first I did not have much experience buying plants online so i did not know what to expect That plant did not recover in a long time one year it stayed stunted And I was fine with that Bought another one reacently Idid as the card said and left it alone in the leca that it came in After two weeks I took it out and the roots was really mush rotted the few that were there anyway Now I have more experience and know more and have recieved other plants from around the world in much better condition than the plants I recieved from The Rare Plantshop I am really disappointed They should not have been in this bad condition Now i am just happy if my last one from this shop even survives Unfortunatly i will not buy from this shop again Love the new packaging though

So dissapointed
I was so happy to place an order because I was so happy to order plants I ve been dreaming of and to support someone I respect But unfortunately I had a very bad experience I received plants without any substrat in a bag with water during a cold time And most of all without heatpack As you can guess both of the VERY EXPESSIVE PLANTS were rotten The post delay was not in cause because the plants came in two day I emailed them with pictures saying I was really dissapointed about the fact that as professional knowing plants hate cold and water they re still sending it this way without at least a heatpack And If they don t want to pay the two euros themself make your customer pay an additional cost When you order the plants of you dream leaving a salary for it you agree to pay en extra two euros to save them if the shop you order from is too stingy to do it The worst is I never received an answer to my emails So run Save your money save your dream and order somewhere else They re not worth you trust support and money

Root rot
I bought a few plants from here and they came with root rot I was also sent the wrong order I contacted the shop and although I was able to keep the plants and they sent me the correct ones out because of the root root they didn t survive anyway

Was a little hesitant to write this
Was a little hesitant to write this review because I know Kaylee Ellen has gotten bullied online This is meant to be an honest review of of my experience with her store and not a reflection on her as a person I ordered a whipple way back in October 2021 The store shipped the plant in a timely manner but UPS sent the package back to the sender UPS said it was because the sender requested it to be sent back I reached out to the RPS to let them know what had happened and ask if they could reship that plant or another similar cutting They agreed to get back to me after they worked things out with UPS I never heard from them again I emailed the RPS again several times afterward to follow up but the store never responded After hearing nothing from them for over 2 months I decided to file a claim through my credit card company I was a big fan of Kaylee Ellen s YouTube content and I d still like to think that this was an outlier rather than a typical experience Just wanted to post so that other buyers are aware and can make educated choices about who to buy from

Ghosted Do Not Recommend
Ghosted after emailing about a missing package UPS was waiting for the response from the business that never came Seems a bit hypocritical when the owner complains of customer service on her youtube videos Business is clearly not focused on the customer experience I would not recommend

Root rot and ignored
I won a Monstera Mint in a raffle with this shop and it arrived with root rot I contacted the store multiple times and they have ignored me Even though I didn t spend a ton of money on the raffle ticket it is still unethical to sell over 600 tickets for a plant you know has very little chance of surviving They took so long to send it that once I received it I had less than 24 hours to accept the prize on the raffle site I was very excited to have won and knowing about the shop owners money issues she speaks about on YouTube I left a positive rating on the raffle site thinking that we would be able to work it out with them directly Unfortunately I have been ignored I would not recommend buying from them if this is the quality of plant they send and based on their costumer service if there is an issue

No answer terrible customer service
Bought a plant and It didn t come as advertised in web shop as leaf was missing it s expensive plant so a leaf means a lot as it was small cutting I don t mind the missing leaf but would be nice to inform me before sending Packaging is terrible as it was just laying on the side of two bubble plastic wasn t in the middle and absolutely cold Seems like it moved a lot during the travel made the little plant bruised as it wasn t wrapped in any kind of protection just chucked which made roots detached as well I sent email regarding the state but no answer at all NEVER EVER buying from this shop again Didn t see the reviews before because I thought it s a reputable company and it should be fine but just horrible experience Poor baby plant is bruised and has half root fall Trying my best to save it But if I can t save my money goes in drain

Extremely disappointing
Extremely disappointing from start to finish First plant was lost in the mail received no contact whatsoever from shipping company and extremely slow contact from customer service Agreed to send a suitable replacement I E I view it and sign off on it before it being sent and that they would hold my plant until spring as it is currently extremely cold where I live Approximately one week after that agreed upon resolution they sent me a replacement I had never seen before through the middle of a snow storm without ever mentioning to me that s what would be happening I just came home to an unexpected very expensive plant sitting on my porch in a pile of snow Zero contact from customer service since then when I tried to get clarification about when and why this happened Will never recommend will never patronize again
