The instructor was incredibly rude

The instructor was incredibly rude after the first day I had to cancel the second day due to bad weather and being told to by emergency alerts to stay home The instructor was very disrespectful to my wife and I over this So disrespectful I decided not to return at all and reach out to TM org for help All they did was forward my message to the instructor and when I responded he turned into a ghost So the situation never got remedied and I was forced to stop payment on the rest of the installments I was really looking forward to this course and was very disappointed with the outcome I will not recommend this to anyone after the way I was treated and then forgotten This was one of the worst experiences I ve had with a company So much for meditation helping me with my anxiety It just made it worse

This was just an overall BAD experience

This was just an overall BAD experience for me I ask a lot of questions when I am learning anything new It seemed to me that the instructor either could not or would not answer my questions Even after telling the instructor I had asthma twice I was closed in a small room with burning incense With all the secrecy about TM and what things mean it feels like a cult and the other bad experiences TM is not for me I ended up more stressed and distressed than I was before I started I would not recommend TM to anyone

I had barely any instructions just a

I had barely any instructions just a little ceremony and I was giving my word mantra to repeat I would say the practice has been helpful but I learned nothing special from the app or the teacher in person we were supposed to meet a few days ago on zoom and I have not heard back from him

Disappointing

I learnt TM in my 20 s Years later I want to go back to the practice I know they say there are free follow ups but to try and find someone in my area is impossible The instructors all live miles away from me and the nearest where I managed to find their e-mail address and telephone number I have left messages but they have not returned my call Disappointing

Awful experience

This was so poorly organized and very bizarre The instructor forgot at least three of our scheduled zooms it was shrouded in secrecy not allowed to talk about what they do red flag I m sure this works for many people maybe it would have worked for me if there hadn t been praying singing to the founder and if I didn t have to spend money on linen cloths fruit and flowers that were wasted She never returned the vase I brought with the flowers said she took it home to clean The videos I had to watch were antiquated and too long to communicate a very simple technique Do not recommend the Huntington NY location Never got my last session that was paid for because she forgot to show up for the scheduled time AVOID Use a NYC office if you want to try this method I recommend a free app or other meditation techniques over TM
