I wouldn t recommend TS to my worst enemy

Tradestation is barely OK I wouldn t recommend it to anyone Their new so-called security system is a joke Despite following all of their instructions I still cannot access my on-line account Since my accounting numbers NEVER match their end-of-the month totals I m sure TS prefers that no one be able to access their own account I will be reporting TS to the SEC on this issue Lastly their customer service is a joke

No technical support capablity

I ve been using TS 4 years now The school I went to referred them What shocks me is they actually get referred Almost daily the site crashed wipes out charts and inexplicably sends error reports Support is abominable It s literally impossible to get a human on the phone and they recently removed technical assistance from their phone tree You will be forced to join chat which is always busy No ones actually gets on to assistance An absolute dinosaur in regards to service Go elsewhere or you will regret it

I was provided false information and charged for the TradeStation Treasury Team error Citibank Legal Department provided all paper trails and profs Now I m trying to get a TradeStation supervisor involved Who knows maybe some manager still cares about business Waiting

I really wanted to like this platform and brokerage I really did But it s 2021 there are better alternatives and TradeStation customer service reps behave as if they were told to do WHATEVER IT TAKES TO LOSE CUSTOMERS 32-bit 90s platform Frankenstein d together Website has many broken links TT for options on futures is an archaic joke Their flagship product the desktop platform behaves like it was programmed by amateurs who copy-and-pasted code from God only knows where Save your money save your sanity save yourself THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS AVAILABLE TODAY

Random fees that other brokerages do not charge

I opened my account in Apr 2021 I was trading for free but in Jun 2022 they started charging me fees for mandatory corporate actions This is something corporations do with their stock and has nothing to do with me other than I bought that stock before They lure you in with sign up bonuses and then charge fees for all sorts of random trading activity Mandatory corporate action is 20 IRA cost 35 yr and 50 to terminate Crypto admin fee is 100 yr They exist to nickel and dime you while there are many of other companies that offer same service for free Avoid and never sign up with this company

Do not use

Do not use I had to reset my password on my account and their own customer service rep told me that literally no one on their end could help me nor access my account on their end despite providing my full name ssn address etc It took several phone calls and being on hold for an amount of time that was just beyond tolerable to regain access to my account What a disaster I couldn t imagine entrusting this firm with a thin red cent of my money

If I could give them a negative star rating I would Horrible complex and so complicated that most Tradestation employees are completely lost and cannot help you I have no idea how this company stays in business If you have to use TS you re better off hiring a TS programmer Better yet - go with a platform that is far better and less frustrating

Horrible experience

Horrible experience I deposited 2 grand from my bank and a little over a grand in USDC I had to KYC 3 times I realized they have very few trading pairs and actually are useless so I tried to transfer my money out and was given an error They told me I had to KYC again and texted me something to fill out I did that and the next day money was still frozen I call in and in the notes they wrote they decided they dont want my business and have to liquidate my usdc and transfer money back into my bank Like they didn t even have my usdc at all They talk to me like I m some idiot and said I can t withdraw now for 6 business days but have no good reason for not wanting to business with me other than the fact that I tried to withdraw USDC immediately after I realized they are garbage Horrible experience If I don t get my 3 grand back I m gonna find someone that works there and have a talk in person What a scam joke DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY IN THERE
