I ve really enjoyed learning in detail from Vudi about the ways to create important effective photographs with a documentary content and feeling about them He has a lot of expertise and knowledge regarding photography and photographic principles such as the rule of the thirds etc to help any budding photographer I am not going to be a professional photographer but I ve learned a lot about how to make my pictures better and more effective in the future Vudi is a good teacher and pays attention to the individual learner in his directions and feedback I d recommend his courses to anyone from beginner to more expert photographer

I learnt a lot to help me on my photography journey the most useful of which was organising files and data Vudi was interesting and very generous with his time in making sure everything was understood He gave helpful and fair feedback as well Highly recommend

This was a very good short introductory online course on street photography and portraiture Vudi illustrated with examples of his and other s work The assignments were clear Our work was critiqued in a helpful manner There was also room for questions from the participants on general photography etc

Vudi is not one of those tutors who d be teaching you because he learned something from a book written 20 years ago out of someone else s experience even before that time Sure he s very good with suggestions on reading analytical books in regards to a variety of concepts in photography and its ethics But I d like to highlight in this review that he is rare He is a working photojournalist which is amazing because he teaches very up-to-date knowledge of the current industry its technologies and trends His views on trends are not rocky he s versatile and open-minded very thoroughly thought views He won t just teach you how to become a good photographer but also how to make a good living out of it Because of where I come from I was a bit shocked hearing him insisting do not give away your pictures for free Never But now I totally understand what he meant Because of that I can afford now to keep up-to-date with the latest technological development I can travel anywhere and have enough for my living He teaches photography with entrepreneurship and ethics at its heart I strongly recommend Vudi to be your tutor or mentor in the industry of visual media He is honest straightforward courageous and inspiring I attended his six months full program and it is priceless

The experience with Vudi whom I already knew as a colleague has been unexpectedly enriching - mind-blowing to be sincere There are so many working photojournalists around outstanding and experienced ones But it is so terribly rare to meet someone who really wants to share his practice and little secrets to not only get the job done but also to sell it properly and professionally keeping your rights and respect for yourself It is not a secret that our professional field is growingly inclined to exploit and underpay professional photojournalists And listening not only to empty words but to practical and well-founded pieces of advice on how to work and sell and why was not only refreshing but inspiring Sometimes we need more experienced colleagues to remind us about our rights and worth One of the best workshops I have attended so far Thank you Vudi

Very interesting and useful information about the work of fixers production assistance in hot spots In the conditions of Ukraine many journalists were left without work and many have to look themselves in new professions So with the beginning of the war between Russia and Ukraine many foreign journalists began to come to our country to cover these events Now I understand how I can cooperate with them and how to protect myself Thank you very much for this experience and I look forward to new workshops that are in demand in today s Ukrainian realities
