My recent House of Indya experience was so egregious that I needed to write a review to warn others. I ordered what looked like a beautiful black lehenga with multi-sized pastel flowers (light blue, dusty pink) on the skirt and dupatta and a plain black blouse. Instead, I received a blue/purple lehenga with a few hot pink flowers on the skirt and several hot pink flowers on the dupatta and blouse. The product I ordered and the product I received were completely different in color, style, and design. However, House of Indya repeatedly tells me that there is no product/quality issue and that they consider these to be "slight variations," which is extremely absurd. Furthermore, despite several attempts, they refuse to refund me for the product and demand that I pay for the shipping and handling to return the product, which would cost at least the same if not more than the product itself. Not only do I not have a lehenga I want for the event I am going to in 5 days, I still don't have a clear resolution for the issue at hand. I would highly recommend against buying anything from House of Indya unless you are comfortable with getting a completely different product than what it looks like online and then being gaslit about it by customer service.
